G.I. Joe Christmas Combat Heroes

target_05_75_pms186
HISS Tank.com member kennywr22 comes through once again with another listing from Target, Holiday Combat Heroes! Set for release later this year, just in time to coincide with the holidays, these G.I. Joe Combat Heroes will probably have christmas canes and other random holiday pieces in lieu of their weapons.

What better way to end the year than to see Destro Claus as a stocking stuffer? Scarface the red nosed trooper? Destro Claus' sleigh powered by 12 Iron GrenaDiEER?

As the holidays approach later this year, these Combat Heroes usher in the Rise of Christmas!

One other listing i found was one for combat heroes/holiday. I'm guessing these will be similiar to the star wars holiday ones they do for christmas. I for one will be getting them. I'ma sucker for the combat heroes.

Pics?
camper:
Y'know, while I like the CH's and have bought them all, after reading that,
I think part of my soul just died. A little.

Yeah still getting them though.

Does anyone care about the Combat Heroes? I want to know the demographic that buys these.... So we can poop on them.
Troynos:
I like 'em. I only get some of 'em.

I got the Star Wars X-Mas ones. They were pretty cool. Looking forward to these.
Hicks_Royel:
We can't get new headsculpts for the 25th figures but they'll rework a combat hero mold [a peg smothering toy line] so that Snake-eye can hold a candy cane this Christmas.

I'd want a new 25th figure but take into account, it takes much more time to sculpt an all new head than it would be to sculpt something like a candy cane for Snake Eyes to hold instead of his falchion.
AirborneRigger:
Glad to hear it! My son has all of the Combat Heroes, a lot of the Marvel ones, and the Vader/Boba/Stormtrooper Christmas set from last year.
darth bob:
They are going to be the wave 3. 2 sets one Joe one Cobra. It says Holiday because they are a going to be a Christmas exclusive.
darth bob:
BTW

Were the Star Wars ones just the regular figures with slide on christmas crap?

still new head sculpts would be a better use of plastic
PitViper:
Im not into combat heros..if I had a kid or something I could see it. I guess theyre nice though...FOR ME TO POOP ON!!! lol

Every year, Easter and Christmas, target has individually packed galatic heroes, the marvel equivalent, micro my little ponies and littlest pet shop in the stocking stuffed section. Same toys, just packed in singles. Some of them, maybe new colors.

There have been exclusive Pet Shop sets at holiday times that aren't themed, but are meant to sell for that season, like the UBP. Exclusive decos on the pets, maybe new accessories.

Basically saying, doubtful any new molds, figures and package not holiday themed, possibly different colors, although past "heroes" line stocking stuffers haven't been.

Could be newish stuff, like the galactic heroes exclusives, and the name in the system simply refers to the limited time of release.

That's debatable... My guess is that whatever's invested in sculpting little present into Dukes hand could easily go into cutting sunglasses into an Outback mold for Monkeywrench.

Indeed.

I'm hoping for a Timber with antlers, like Max from How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

But then I'm a little warped.
Lody:
If they are cool and X-mas related-I might pick them up to display them

I have got 1 of every one I've seen so far for my youngest son. As I have w/ most of the Marvel heroes. He is 2 and I find it is a wonderful alternative to leaving him out of me and my older son's hoby.

Yes-- the packagages and candy canes had holes drilled through them to slide on the lightsabers, the santa hats were rubber banded on, the wreaths were designed to slide over the guns, the lights just wrap around weapons, and the christmas tree slid in the hole the chewbacca figure already had for his bowcaster- otherwise they were the exact same figures..

And I do collect these- but I also collect Super Hero Squad, Adventure Heroes, G1 Robot Heroes, Toybox Heroes, Galactic Heroes, DC Imaginext, and will be getting the B&B style ones..

I like these lines- although I collect all the normal size lines as well.
