Movie trailer talk all over again.

Maybe the trailer will be with another PG-13 movie to capture the attention of both parents and kids. Maybe The Hobbit? Or Jack Reacher? I don't know.

Can't *ehem* wait to see all 90 minutes of this originally 2D post production converted 3D made for TV movie.

Now if they only edited in spots for commercials every 4 minutes so they can immediately move this to the USA Network Up All Night with Gilbert Godfried.

If they were smart, they'd put the trailer with either "The Hobbit" or "Les Miserables". Both are anticipated movies with a large, built-in audience. They'd get the marketing out.

It's got to be with "Jack Reacher". It's another Paramount movie. Last winter they had a trailer premiere with Tom Cruise's "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol".

Well they certainly cannot make the trailer look as bad as Jack Reacher, can they?

Is the hobbit going to be in 3D?

I say that if they were to push the 3D idea then it would probably be best viewed with a 3D movie. It would be a great tactic in selling the movie to audiences. After all isn't the whole 3D Schtick one of the reasons they gave as to why they wanted to hold back the movie. You know to maximize profits or whatever, even though they have already spent a ton of money on a movie they don't seem to show a lot of faith in from this viewers point of view.

It's gotta be with "The Hobbit". Both are MGM.

if they where using there heads smart about it they would nt play it with les miseribales not many people watch musicles people that do watch musicles are the ones that are not gijoe/ transformers fans it be fnas & younger people that will want to see gijoe movie.

mostly grnadparents, teachers, movie criritcs that will see les misble film show with big hit films that will draw big crowd with younger & older people twilghit, hobbit, superman, ironman 3 if there out in time before gijoe some musicles that make it to number one spot stay few weeks then get bumped how many little kids go see musicles would want to see one same with teens.

Bad in down right dreadful. That Jack Reacher movie looks terrible and nothing more than Taken meets Jason Bourne.

I just hate that I had to wait an extra year to see this. I could care less about 3D. I actually refuse to watch it in 3D. Just stupid.

Jack Reacher seems most likely. Hobbit is supposedly debuting a new Man of Steel trailer and possibly a new Star Trek trailer, and while I don't doubt that tons of movies would like to have their trailer attached to the Hobbit, I dunno that the studios would play ball like that.

Besides, it'll probably debut online prior to (or simultaneously with) theaters anyhow.

I guess that means you don't like Taken and the Jason Bourne series because if Jack Reacher is anything like those movies than i'm gonna see it, but back on topic, I hope the new trailer has CC giving some cool speech to his men and is voiced by Charlie Adler.

If you give me a chance to add some info, than I'll say that at 2:07 of the 2nd official trailer we can see a bunch of new Joes who will appear.
They are standing with Roadblock around the table at Coltons place.
There are minimum 5 new Joes:
1 out of range, just his hands appeared. 2 guys in baseball caps, 1 looks like Recondo/Outback and 1 in the shadow...I was guessing him as Gung-ho.
What do you think?

I'd be pretty surprised if they didn't. Then again they might figure it's "old news" and instead just do a pre-game ad buy to save money.

We'll probably get: Man of Steel, Iron Man 3, Star Trek 2...maybe Hobbit part 2 as well.

This trailer better have all new footage we haven't seen but yet not show off everything the movie has to offer.

Now, that kamikaze byke that Firefly has it's all kinds of cool... it's basically a gimmick/rocket launcher (literally) in itself.
How come he ended up with some ridiculous karting, or those dreadful bikes with the stupid kata blades???

Can't wait to see the movie. Looks like Duke doesn't die anymore, or at least not in that strike against the Joes in the beginning.

I was super excited for this movie when the trailer aired a year ago (give or take), but admittedly less so now. the delay and all the hubub surrounding it hs taken a little of the wind out of my sails.
I am still planning on seeing it, but am not nearly as excited for it as I had been.

I'm more excited for Zero Dark Thirty.

Kind of sad they blew up the boardwalk in the movie, then Sandy took it out in RL! :( I'll see it, I liked ROC overall. It was a good action movie, we can't have the directors and writers make everything 100% accurate to the Joe storyline for the sake of 30k or so fanboys! They have to make it interesting for millions of movie goers!

The North Korea thing was kinda funny.

That thing reminds me of the motorcycle armor they released a while back.

i knew it wouldn't happen, but i still wanted to hear cobra commander speak. i have this sneaking suspicion that zartan will take up a majority of the screen time, and i won't get my leather-clad CC fix.

I saw absolutely nothing in that trailer to indicate that Duke is a presence in the film past the (presumably) first 15 minutes or so. What did you see?

We've seen him: In what is presumably the lead-up to the operation that the Joes are on when ambushed (On the Ghost Hawk II by the looks of things).

During the operation ("Drive it Like you Stole it!" and "Go Go Go!" presumably)...note that Roadblock is wearing the same uniform in the "drive it" scene that he's wearing at the Ambush later.

At the ambush ("Security's early" *BOOM*).

And NOTHING beyond that. Notably, he doesn't show up in any of the scenes with Joe Colton, nor wandering away with the survivors of the big ambush.

Still betting on movie-Duke being toast.

On a side-note, my biggest criticism is that it's painfully obvious that the Ninja story and the "Joe Story" are very disconnected. It gives the trailer a schizophrenic feel...almost like you're seeing an ad for two different movies at once. (Though I do believe the two plotlines will intertwine by the end).

Ok, enough trailers and just give us the damn movie. I'm ready to see it. Hopefully all of the interesting plot points and action sequences haven't been hinted at or shown in the 3 trailers. I do want some surprises.

And I'm thankful they didn't include Joe Colton's line, "My cholesterol is a little high."

Nope same scenes from the very first trailer. He still bit the dust or they say he is in the coma in the end. He aint going to be in the movie much. 20 minutes top.
