He says that that there are two or three large sequences that will blow the audience away. He thinks that what differentiates this movie from other big movies is the eight or nine really well drawn characters in the movie(Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Hawk, Duke, Destro, Cobra Commander, Baroness, Zartan, Heavy Duty, and Ripcord?). He says that the relationships between characters such as Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow,(who have an intertwined past), will take the movie to the next level. It is also mentioned that their storyline is taken directly from the comic.

HissTank boards member mynameisash gives us details on how Ray Park was chosen to play Snake Eyes in the upcoming G.I. Joe:Rise of Cobra movie set for release next year!
It turns out Park always wanted to play Snake Eyes and was also interested in playing Storm Shadow. Upon hearing that a film was going to be made, he and a friend decided to make a short film playing both parts and sent it to Paramount. After casting started, the director invited Park to come by and talk about the movie, and he got the part!
He was scripted to say a few lines but Larry Hama nixed the idea. Despite Park's excitement to speak the lines, he understood that it would be an abomination to fans if Snake Eyes were to speak in the film.

Unfinished scenes introducing Snake Eyes, Duke, and The Baroness were shown. A CG animation that served as a storyboard was also shown, which shows The Baroness returning to France, and another scene where a Joe member is captured by Cobra!. Destro & Zartan look on form. The action also seemed very styalized.

Joe:Rise of Cobra! He will be wearing a mask, but it will not be the classic hood, as mentioned earlier this week. Rather than relying on digital effects, Gordon-Levitt put on hours of prosthetic makeup, to see a different creature altogether.
While inspired by the cartoon, Gordon Levitt states that the film is taking pains to carve out its own niche on the franchise. He also says “I think it maintains the spirit of it and all the fun, but it brings the character into three dimensions. It wouldn’t look good if you did an exact replica of the cartoon. You wouldn’t want me wearing a skin-tight bright-blue dictator’s uniform. It would look silly.”
