| | Credit: Monk of the Hiss Tank Forums! | Views: 3,161 | | Monk: I have always been a fan of G.I. Joe and Lego and have been playing with them ever since I was a kid so I decided to take my two favorite toys and put them together.
So here is my version of the 1983 G.I. Joe Headquarters made out of Legos. I took some liberty with the command center and made it bigger but for the most part I tried to keep the whole build consistent to the original. I didn't have enough pieces for the MOBAT but I was able to make a Vamp and add a RAM. The Vamp platform does lift up and down (I have it up in the photos) and the front cannon swivels. I made a small grip of Joes with only standard Lego pieces, no custom paint or stickers, and tried my best to match the characters. Let me know what you think.

As a kid, I'd build jails, bases and vehicles for my Joes with Legos, that's kinda what I'd expected from this post. I dont't think I was prepared for this kind of awesomeness! I think way back in the day I tried to make a Lego GI Joe base. I may have made a small one but never thought about creating a base on your scale and level of detail. I would send the pics to Lego.
