Here's the reference to the original character
YOJOE.COM | Filecard Gallery - T'Ginzu
I wanted to make a ninja based on a pre existing character without being constrained to the original design. Since the character is a repaint of SS and doesn't even come close to the file card art, I decided to play with him a little. Note, I will not be bringing back the "Piledriver"
The clothing uses a paratrooper parachute for material. The armored mask is a combination of green stuff, apoxie, and plast-dip. All of the weapons use styrene as a base and only the sai borrows from an original part.

Holy crap, that is simply amazing, Guppy! I believe that is the finest custom you've ever done. You are more than worthy of Ninja Master status. Excellent job, man!

Excellent excellent custom. Outstanding work on the soft goods costume. Kudos on a job well done.
My one critique, and it's more a statement of my personal design preference than anything "wrong" with your custom, is that if you hadn't called him T'Gin-Zu, I would have just as easily mistaken him for Nunchuk, Storm-Shadow, Firefly or any other camo-patterned ninja.
