Just got the stickers in today from cobrastickers and they are great! Finished this custom G.I.Joe Night Force Night Froster and snapped some picks.
As the Cobra forces mount an ever growing arctic campaign, the G.I.Joe team needs to keep up in the race for the Arctic. The G.I.Joe team has called in their elite branch known as Night Force to take out key Cobra bases in the arctic. At a slight disadvantage in the arctic as far as their vehicles go, the Night Force relies on the Night Striker to get them as close as possible to the targets and then they deploy from there. Under the cover of darkness, Night Force Alpha Team moves in on foot and takes the first Cobra arctic base intact. While patroling the garage area, Snow Job discovers a fleet of Cobra W.O.L.F.s parked there and gets an idea. He radios to Flint with news of his find and idea and is told to move them all out and back to the Joe's A.F.C.C. (Arctic Forward Command Center). Once the fleet of "borrowed" Cobra W.O.L.F.s arrives, General Hawk is pleased with Snow Job's idea and orders the go-ahead. Once the W.O.L.F.s have cooled off and been dried off, they are striped of their armaments and moved into the paint booth to be resprayed with Night Force Black. The armaments are treated to the Night Force colors as well and once dried, the new G.I.Joe Night Force logos are put on.
Now, the G.I.Joe Night Force has a formidable arctic weapon they renamed the Night Froster! mswi: wow man, that looks great. the stickers really finish it off. TANK_DRIVER785: damn thats smooth!!!! i like it!! JohnJett: Incredible. Really amazing work, CC. Batmandk02: Damn dude.. how did you get the paint THAT SMOOTH???!!! Thanks everyone for the support, this was fun making this one!
Bats, I use lighter fluid and rub it on the original stickers to remove them and the residue they leave behind. That elimenates the funky edges and makes everything smoother for the paint.
BFJ, beleive me, I am still thinking about doing an IG version too but am stuck when it comes to the canopies. I'd want to do clear red ones but since they are molded in clear blue, that would make them purplish insted of red. I have some gold Destro/IG stickers left over still and lots of black, red and gold paint so it wouldn't be hard to do besides the canopies. CobraCrimson: Quote:

Amakusa666: Really impressive, cant stop looking at it. Looks like a retail release to me. Just damn awesome man. Duffmann: i usally don't comment on customs but that is so nice. i would love one so i could display with my NF figures. CobraCrimson: Quote:

Great work all around! joecom: CC that is Amazing Awesome job. CobraCrimson: Thanks everyone, might do some smaller Night Force customs based on the playsets and smaller vehicle accesories too and some 25th style figures to go with them! A.V.A.C.: nicely done, real pretty! Owner of a Lonely B.A.T.: Well man I can't fault your work as the vehicle looks like production rather than custom, but and this isn't your fault I never understood Night Force colors.
Otherwise awesome! TTT: Front paged togo26: That is a great custom! The Wolf was always one of my favorite vehicles. Hasbro needs to release something like this! Cobra-Love: Good work. It also would have been cool as an IG Wolf. ironknife: not bad !! it looks factory Gyre-Viper: Quote:
