Custom Dreadnok Playset Dread-Shanty
Hisstank member footloose shows us his custom Dreadnok Shanty. Made of Popsicle sticks, Rocks, Moss and a healthy dose of glue, this playset sports two levels, ladder, table, stairs and all the style you'd expect from a swamp shack.

    i made sweet outpost for my dreads. i dont know how to post pics on my threads so youll have to go to my profile and look at my pics. i was very happy with it upon completion. its made from popcicle stix, rocks, and moss. makes a great hideout on swamp dios.
    so if you got time, check it out let me know what you think

    Thanx for the kind words everyone. I do have plans for a swamp base on the thing, might be awhile before i complete it. Gotta either find some fake trees, or i think of a way to craft them. Anyone got any ideals.

    here, not as cheap in price as popcicle sticks, but you can do a lot more an get really creative wit' this stuff man.. Building Supplies Wood

    youre right those wood supplies are not cheap. i cant afford that stuff right now, but thanx for the heads up. if anything id get some of those trees. i have a hobby shop not to far from my place ill have to go check it out to see if they have the trees there.

    i bought them at the dollar store, and super glued them on. the whole thing was really easy to make just time consuming

    just started working on an out post for my joes tonight. the sniper tower is just about complete the whole thing should be done in about a week. woohoo

    there is a table in there, and a ladder, as for the doughnuts i just couldnt get the popcicle stix to be right.

    you should check out a product thats called ez water, its made by some model railroad landscape company.
    heres a pic of how it turnes out when i used it the first time.....though i later learned that by painting the river/swamp/sea bed before pouring the e water you can change the color of the water+ i used to little of it.
    also: those are fake aquarium plants.

    ill have to check out some of that ez water that would look great on my swamp dio, think im going to pic up some those aquarium plants this weekend and throw some paint on them so theyre not so bright. thanx for the pointers.

    just go buy a box of stix at walmart for $3. you get 1000 theyre in the craft section
