Over on twitter I asked when we might get the next joe reveal and the response was:" it will be a MAJOR reveal. "Awesome news. I was really thinking destro was next but we will see.

Well,Both Destro and Bludd had concept drawings shown recently on the LOTR video earlier...

Maybe they are both Ready to be shown or they moved Destro to later in the year as a presence with the Snow Serpent and Snowjob for their Shocktober fest and 12 days of Christmas Events/Reveals

Bludd is one of my favorite characters from the Joe line!! Hopefully he turns out Awesome!

I think Sideshow's rendition of Sebastian will be freaking awesome...wonder what his "missle gun" will look like and what other armament they give him.

Surprised Destro wasn't announced before, especially with the Baroness reveal. Can't wait for SDCC!

Shame on whoever put the artwork from the Desert Conditions version up on the front page with this. That was a great figure, but it's horrible artwork. Always go original when it comes to card art.

Major Bludd should be nearly impossible to mess up. But they'd better not give him a squinty eye and stinkface look like a lot of the stuff Sideshow has done. Actually it's mostly for the Joes, the Cobras come out much better and more distinctive.

Yeah I am worried about his face as well as the baroness face/hair...none of the cobras I have picked up you an see their real face so they all work...but if he looks stupid like unmasked Beachhead or Flint or Duke and ultimate disgrace unmasked Storm Shadow...I may have to pass on the Bluud...too bad they cant get the guy form Hot Toys whop sculpted that new DNR Batman/Christan Bale head...that thing looks life like lol..

1st of all I agree with you 100%. But my fear is that sideshow is afraid of pussy. :(

You guys are being a little tough on Sideshow. Baroness is debuting Sideshow's updated female body despite the fact that Star Wars, Marvel, and DC Comics are much bigger properties for them.

I think we'll see Scarlett in 2013, and maybe Jinx in light of all the ninja stuff Sideshow has done. Lady Jaye will be down the road, and I can't see either Cover Girl or Zarana being made ahead of Gung Ho, Roadblock, Shipwreck, Scrap Iron, Tomax/Xamot, Mindbender, and a bunch of others.

There simply weren't that many female core character during ARAH's glory days.

Yeah the whole con exclusive thing is kind of shitty...you won't ever see hasbro produce the figures, so the con is glad to step in and rape you for what hasbro is too lazy to put in stores...

GI Joe has always been a sausage fest...it's the curse of the franchise...I'm still waiting on my Sigma 6 Scarlett and Baroness...female figures are always the first to be snatched up too, even before troop builders...

All the hard drugs they buy from selling you guys overpriced figures gives them T.D.S. so they wouldn't be able to do anything with it if they got it...thus the fear...


I don't think criticizing an overpriced line of figures for not producing what the people want to buy is being tough on them...if they want to justify the prices, they are going to have to find buyers, if the buyers aren't getting what they want then it's kind of hard to sell the product...for me, I like the figures and the concept, but they cost the equivalent of a car payment or a bag of heroin for each one of them...and the big kick in the nuts is that they may only cost a few dollars to actually produce...so if the eager spenders that are making them rich want to complain, I say complain away, the customer is always right after all...

Forget them, they should make a Vladmir Putin figure.

WoW, He looks good. The Head sculpt looks amazing. Only thing I am iffy on is his body armor, It just doesn't look right to me. I am so far beyond on these things I still need the Viper!

EDIT: Holy shit - is he holding the bloody dog tags of the Joes he's killed? That's GREAT!!!

Eh, not impressed. The face is okay...but it comes off looking more like a Cowboy than a European look. It's the mustache.

And the armor is bad. It looks like they copied the 25th version for the chestplate, which was just a repainted 25th Zartan...and that wasn't good. And his armored arm looks more like a prosthetic than armor. Plus the gun just looks silly. Not feeling this one. I don't mind the Baroness, but I'm nowhere near tempted to get one of these things yet.

Bludd isn't European, he's from Australia and he's supposed to have a prosthetic arm.

Some folks say he has two good arms.
That it's just armor to protect him from his crazy missile launching gun.

Thats what I always thought. I never thought he had a prostetic. As a kid I clearly saw the extra missiles on his backpack, thought the armor made sense, and there are enough parts in the old marvel books to tell me bludd is just fine with both arms.

I gotta be honest...I don't like the look of this figure much. I love the Sideshow stuff, I'm 100% down for Baroness and the upcoming Snake-Eyes and Timber, but this just looks...I dunno...I don't dig it. The rocket pistol looks terrible, he looks awfully thin...I would never have thought I'd pass on Sideshow Major Bludd but I might just have to. I am genuinely confused.

Mjr. Blood looks kickass. Wish Hasbro would release him instead of the third or fourth version of Duke or SE they've probably already greenlighted for the upcoming toyline.
