Wait for it!
It will be Daina/Diana/Volga/Vorona.
A.V.A.C.:
Cool!!!
ero:
I hope they reveal a solid, fan-demanded figure first. I know they like to save the best for last, but they go at such a slow pace, it gives people a lot of time to get down on the thing.
tkprime:
As long as we get HORRORSHOW I'll be Happy!

Have they ever done a totally new figure for the convention sets? Most are are repaints/kitbashes right? I would love a comic accurate OG set, but Horrorshow would require a whole new torso and arms at least.
Barefoot Jedi:
GAH! I have a work thing I can't get out of! :/

I'll be sneaking peeks with my phone.

I doubt it'll be Daina since she was the image.

I prophesy Dragonsky in purple and red Blowtorchiness.

They've mostly only done new heads in the past, but they have started to do more and more new tooling, and in 2010 they made a new chest piece (O-ring style) for Natalie Poole.

I'm thinking/hoping that Horrorshow will be the one figure that they really go for brok on, and make him with a newly sculpted chest or webgear to make him look like he did in the Marvel comics.

Not really, they can just stick mutt's head on a Bazooka Body and give him Claymore's helmet ...thats all I am expecting at this point lol..

Yes, as of year, Claymore was a new figure. New head & helmet.
RolandofGilead:
It's 3:00 est...
JediKnutt:
Well, Claymore was a new head and helmet anyway. But I see your point. So where is the reveal?
Sciencefriction:
Just watch, it won't be revealed for.. um.. who knows, but they're working out the bugs don't worry!
Blot:
The base for Daina is up... It's Greeeeen!
ero:
It's Daina, but you can't see her.
Sciencefriction:
..and right after that they post it. I like it, the new headsculpt is nice. I think that's one of the best female headsculpts I've seen on a Joe.
TARGETSIX:
It's up, and it's nice.
Blot:
I think I like that... want to see her with the helmet on, but the green works!

Very Russian face.
Loose Cannon:
She looks real good!
Loose Cannon:
She's does look Russian even though she's Czech
Badgumbo:
Very Nice!
Sciencefriction:
It's a great figure, I can't see anything I dislike about it.
wormser:
I hope there is less og. Than other figs in the box
CrimsonGuard101:
Love it...when can i order my set lol...

Hells no! I would prefer more named characters then a bunch mor eof usless troop builder fodder...that is unless they are red army grunts
Atreides:
Very impressed, can't wait to see what else is in the set.

The lack of a sniper is something that jumps out. It says she is a sniper so giver her a sniper
MJjoe4life:
Looks great! They headsculpt looks awesome!! Cant wait to see the rest of the figures and be able to get this set in NOLA this year.
JediKnutt:
Couple of questions. When will these be available AT the con? The first day or do you have to be there at a certain time? And will they be on the Joe Club web site for those that can't attend?
DESTRO:
Not a huge fan of the OG, but that's a nice Female Figure.
TheRealDubya:
Uh-oh. Money spending time.
Troynos:
I like it.
89PILOT:
WOW!!!! That's the best headsculpt ever!!!

Jokin - I think it's ok.............think it could've been(hopefully will be) even better - I mean the figure as a whole!!!
Mermaniel:
Looks good! Too bad I wont be able to afford them...
alaroc:
Floored at how beautiful this new headsculpt is- absolutely nothing fugly about it. Great use of those PP SE legs too. Definitely sold on the set...

She's got a Dragonov...a sniper rifle.
Zarana:
Just when I think I'm out.....
TheRealDubya:
Love that new green figure stand as well.
Nirvana:
Head sculpt is so-so. Really would have liked the colors on the uniform to match the preview artwork more.
revsears:
For the longest time the con sets didn't seem that appealing to me, but they seem to be getting better. Last year's Joes were excellent, and this is a good start. Still not worth money at this point. One thing that is frustrating to me, is that I need to pay a fee for these. If I pay that fee before I ever see these I get a figure (footloose this year) To me that's buying one figure with the hopes of buying more blind. If I knew for sure they were going to be a home run and footloose was included I would be more likely to put money down.
Alyosha:
It's strange, but the POC Desert SE legs work pretty good here. The headsculpt looks great, but I want to see that cowl on the head. It's a biggish, so I'm thinking it might swim about a bit.
turner:
WOW, I was expecting the roc cover girl torso (or dvd lady jaye) but the weird snake eyes legs are a surprise. Looks great though, really exceeded my expectation with limited parts use and all. Added a knife where the badge was, and the head sculpt is fabulous and with removeable helmet!!
dominic.18:
That's not fair. I was gonna skip the set this year but I can't resist especially if the other figures are anywhere near as nice as daina
KINGOFNOD5:
i can't wait for the rest of the set now.
Barefoot Jedi:
Excellent!

That head also recalls Bombstrike...and Kara Thrace from Battlestar Galactica. Starbuck is going to nut in his cubicle.

Much better interpretation of her than the ARAH-mold one. Very happy thus far.

Question: What is the correct pronunciation of Daina?

I know in Sunbow it's just Diana. Is that it?

And on that subject, what about Schrage? How does one say that?
