Just a reminder that the 2008 Canadian Action Figure Expo is this Sunday, September 28th at the Holiday Inn Burlington Hotel and Conference Centre. Located at 3063 South Service Road the location is directly off the 403 at the Guelph Line with free parking for everyone.
The show features 2 halls filled with dealers selling GIJoe (vintage and 25th anniversary), Star Wars (new and vintage), Transformers (vintage and Japanese imports), Super Heroes, and tons of other Action Figures and collectibles.
In attendance will be special guests the 501st Garrison for Star Wars photo ops, GIJoe comic artist Richard Zajac and Transformers/GIJoe Comic Artist Alex Milne for sketches and signings.

The 2008 Canadian GIJoe and Action Figure Expo has been announced. It will be Sunday, September 28th at the Holiday Inn Burlington Hotel and Conference Centre. The show features 2 halls filled with dealers selling GIJoe (a huge focus on vintage and modern era), Star Wars, Transformers, Super Heroes, and tons of other Action Figures and collectibles. The G.I. Joe: Resolute cartoons will debut as Webisodes on the Hasbro Website early next year. Hasbro is also hoping to place the G.I. Joe: Resolute shorts on the Cartoon Network and then release them on DVD. In addition to releasing a DVD, Hasbro is planning a toy series based on the G.I. Joe: Resolute cartoons.
-Series of Ten 5-Minute cartoon episodes with a 10-Minute conclusion.
-If the G.I. Joe: Resolute cartoons are successful, Hasbro has plans to do something similar for the Transformers.

As Hasbro ramps up for the summer 2009 blockbuster movie release of G.I. Joe from Paramount Pictures, film producers Lorenzo Di Bonventura and Brian Goldner, also Hasbro's CEO, will be joined by writer Stuart Beattie and creative consultant Larry Hama to discuss how they are bringing the legendary G.I. Joe vs. Cobra saga and its characters to life for fans around the world.
Also, Aaron Archer (Hasbro Design), Michelino Paolino (HasbroDesign), Michael Ritchie (Hasbro Marketing), and producer Joaquim Dos Santos discuss the recently announced G.I. Joe: Resolute, animated online series.

G.I. JOE, the original action figure, has delivered classic adventure and memorable characters to generations of kids and collectors for nearly 45 years. With the introduction of the G.I. JOE VS. COBRA saga more than 25 years ago, millions of fans met characters such as DUKE, SNAKE EYES, STORM SHADOW and COBRA COMMANDER through toys, comics and animation. Next summer, the compelling G.I. JOE VS. COBRA storyline comes to life on the big screen with the debut of a live action movie from Paramount Pictures and Hasbro on August 7, 2009.

Hisstank now has images and info of the figures and vehicles talked about in the Hasbro Panel this morning.
Modern Era Wave 10 will include Wraith, Croc Master, Tiger Force Duke, Para Viper, Cobra Bazooka Trooper, Mutt and Junkyard. Wraith will have a variant included in the case assortments which will be clear, limited in print run. The jaw on the crocidile for Croc Master will open and shut. The vehicles include Deep Six with SHARC, and AVAC with Firebat.
The first wave of Combat Heroes will include Snake Eyes and Young Timber vs. Zartan. Bazooka Vs. Firefly. Duke vs. Cobra Trooper. More info and pictures on these items will be revealed tomorrow.
Larger vehicles will be shown tomorrow as well, possibly the rumored Rattler. The panel mentioned no promises on the Flagg, Terrordrome, or the Defiant, but if they can get someone to pick them up, they do want to do them.
