Andy Wildman, an artist from the Marvel comics run of GI Joe A Real American Hero, has found his long lost cover for GI Joe A Real American Hero #128! More info from his site:
So I have just had another trawl through the boxes of old Marvel art in my studio. Most of it is X-Men with a load of other random stuff like Spider-Man 2099, Venom, Black Cat and UK Action Man plus all sorts of stuff that even I am not interested in but is kind of fun to look back on. But. found a few more bits and pieces of GI Joe and Transformers. I am going to post all remaining Joe pages here soon but to start with here is a long lost cover. Dont know how this one managed to slip the net but there ya go.As always any expressions of interest in purchasing this will be considered. It may get to the point that I will put it on eBay but to be honest I would rather not. A decent offer here will be considered.

I used to have that issue and still love that cover. Great story in that issue too.

I think he meant a long lost piece of actual cover art.

I know he has put some artwork up for sale in the past. I would really like to buy some, providing I could afford it.
Even though much of his run was in the worst issues, He still made them look good. And that was quite a task for a guy who had to draw the eco-force

I enjoyed Wildman's run as artist on Transformers - I thought he brought an organic look to the robots that enhanced their character. On GI Joe, his style didn't go over quite as well for me.
I'm probably the only one, but my favorite Joe artist of all time is Ron Wagner.....his detailed, realistic style just "fit" with Joe to me (and his run on Nth Man was spiffy too). Gotta give a nod to Rod Whigham and Herb Trimpe, though, who also did *awesome* work.

I LOVE Andrew Wildman's artwork. He made all of the Joes look amazing!!! I loved his artistic visions of many of the characters. I don't know if it was his creative control or not but I remember during the story arc when Scarlett was a posing as a Cobra agent he used a mix of outfits for a lot of the characters. IE stalker would wear his 89 uniform. Hawk wore his original uniform without the helmet. Zarana had a slightly modified look. CC wore his repaint black and silver battle corpe uniform and Destro wore his IG uniform but with a silver helmet. small but memorable touches. and let us not forget the Black Horizon. such talent.
