Finally the long ass dragged out opening arc comes to an end. I hope the book picks up from here on out. 3.99 is a lot for a comic with a glacially slow story.
I just read a post on the GI Joe Comics Forum with something Chuck Dixon said about the slow pacing. He say's he's writing for the trade instead of single issues, and he prefers his comics to be less wordy. Well that's great and all, but not worth my money. I hope he gets fired from the book. Maybe that's mean, but I love GI Joe and don't love these flimsy half assed stories.
The single issue movie prequel books were so so much better, because they were one and done, so he couldn't pad the thing out.
