They're reprinting issue 1 in the yearbook? *sigh*

I realize the graphic novel may have been a been light with only the 4 annual books but why not include the Order of Battle Books or the 3d ones or even an Action Force comic?

No clue. I remember they took a while with this one, this set was announced awhile back. I would love to see the Action Force comics reprinted.
rip_cord:
can't wait for the Yearbook!

the Annual is a nice surprise, somehow i never heard of this until now?
Jettfire:
I could have done without another reprint of #1, but I'll still try to grab this. The Jonboy Meyers cover looks awesome. I'd love to see that released as a poster.

It definitely is an improvement over his previous covers.
MightyMegs:
Now... let's see the Cobra back-cover.
turner:
Guys, they are reprinting the marvel yearbooks in tradeback form, yearbook 1 included the lady doomsday story. See link: G.I. Joe Comic Book Archive

Very glad to see the yearbooks in tradeback, and also the new Hama annual, very cool.
CrimsonGuard101:
The little blurb in the white quote box "everything you need to know about AMERICA's favorite heros" brings a tear to my eye...thats the joes in the right colors, style and look they deserve!

I was just re-reading my yearbooks a few week back. There's another reprint of Lady Doomsday that I picked up recently as well, but I'll have to go home and do some digging to remind myself what is was.
turner:
Yearbook 2, 3, and 4 had new stories though, and some good ones!

Yearbook 2-Oktober Guard
Yearbook 3-Joe raid on the cobra consulate building
Yearbook 4-Oktober Guard
Crazy Legs:
Movie Roadblock grew up in DC? What is this?
travisc:
Any chance the Yearbook GN will also include a reprint of the bonus story that was featured in issue #1? I would've really liked it if this was included in the vol. 1 trade, but oh well!

Bloodforthebaron were doing TPBs iirc of the original AF comics (it might have been the newly coloured versions). They are also all available for online viewing here (as are the Marvel AF comics and others):

That always puzzles me, why don't they include that one? It wasn't in the comic pack reprints either. I liked that one alot.
