Steel brigade gold? Tele-viper?

Hey Destro, what happened to the original thread?

Flint, Beachhead, Steel Brigade (gold), Cobra Officer, Tele-Viper, EEL, Crimson Guard!

Oh, okay. Thought maybe you got pissy because of everyone's bitchin'.

Three things:

1. First and foremost....I appreciate you doing this and taking the extra step to possibly get us some cool new 7 packs. Thank you!

2. In some cases you have pitted a cobra troop builder versus a cobra troop builder. I think its safe to say its a golden rule that almost everyone loves cobra troop builders. Pitting them against each other seems counterproductive. If I may...how did you make these "versus" determinations?

3. No Tele-Viper??!! Really??!! The Tele-viper has to be the ONE final classic cobra troop builder not modernized or even ever done correctly. How could you leave him out?

well not a complete waste of time.
it is a strangely configured poll series I will give you that.
interesting choices of who to pit against who.
was there any strategy involved or was a randomizer used to pick the options?
there are better multiple choice polls out there, but by pitting one against one instead of ranking there would definitely be a "clear" winner.

Flint needs to be in this poll. As far as I'm concerned that concept is his definitive version.

Agreed on the missing figures, though. The improved Cobra Officer, Flint, Eels, and Tele-Viper rank right up there with Kwinn and Data-Viper on my most wanted list.

I would bitch and moan that the original thread was replaced and that I have to do this all over again but, well, I like polls of this sort and it's fun so no bitching here. LOL

My Bad on the thread delete, thanks for taking it for what it is, For FUN. Like I said before sound off if you want yet another version of Flint or XYZ figure. I'm personally looking for new, never before produced figures for my collection. This is not an official poll just relax and have fun with it.

My top 3 are Data Viper, Gold Ninja Assassin and Heat Viper

I'm with you on the HEAT Viper. He's my No. 1.

This is a terrible way to poll on these figures. We're going to get one clear winner, and have no idea where any other figure stands in popularity ranking. For such a large list of figures, we should have them fully ranked or at least have a top 10 to get any useful information. Unless Hasbro only wants to make one figure.

For example let's say the winner is Tele-Viper. If he was up against Zombie Cobra Commander in his first poll, there is no way to tell if Zombie Cobra Commander is the second most popular figure, or if EVERY other figure is more popular than him and he actually ranks dead last.

This kind of poll makes sense for sports where there has to be one and only one winner but is a big waste of time for what we and Hasbro need to know about these figures.

We should simply be ranking all the figures from top to bottom in one list, rating each one on a scale of 1 to 10, or at least picking 5 or 10 favorites out of the bunch.

The photos should be added on the voting pages!!!!

Yes. We need photos. I'm wondering why the EEL and gold helmet Steel Brigade are not included. I'd like both of those more than ninjas.

you know.. these polls are lame. a survey style poll, where we can choose as many as we like, just to see how in demand EVERY figure is would work much better.

The problem with that is so many people would choose everything. Realistically, you would need a poll with some sort of points system. Rank all 20 or so with points associated to each one. You would definitely find out which one is the most favorite and least favorite.

i would choose everything, And i would buy everything if it got a release at retail. How would a poll that reflects that NOT work?

Where's the Tele-Viper?

Why not just list all the Concept Figures and whatever else and have a poll for us to click on and let Hasbro know if we'd "BUY" it or not.....let Hasbro decide if they would do 5 packs, 7 packs, DTC, Internet Exclusives or what not....personally I liked a LOT of STUFF they showed.....A Zombie Pack and Ninja Pack seems to be a NO BRAINER to me...I know there are a LOT of fans out there for those two specific Packs...it just seems to me this process could be much more simplified....everyone is going to have their Fav figures or perfect lineup of these figures so collecting the data on which FIGURES are the most popular and the ones that will sell well are what Hasbro needs if they were thinking about Producing these figures.

I agree, it should have been done in ranked lists. Each voter just lists every figure from least wanted to most wanted and the mods would need to sort through the results.

Polls always suck unless it's only two options.

What part of the above is so difficult to understand? This isn't a poll to be viewed and decided upon by Hasbro, it's a poll to have FUN (which some seem to forget is part of a hobby).

There really isn't much from the cancelled case I don't want. Love me some ninjas and zombies. And the ninja zombies. coyote aliens transport. Man hasbro is saving me alot of $$$.

The only figures I would not buy are the Shipwreck and the Pit Training Duke. Everything else is a win.

I agree I rather have the poll be a buy not buy option. I know it's for FUN. I'm not saying I hate the poll but I don't see why we can improve on the practice. It's one thing to do a field of 64 and have trooper, joe, dreadnok & ig, and cobra regions. (even though I don't think it's weighted properly now). But as far as this FUN poll is setup the data isn't that reliable.

Echo Faction Trooper vs. Ghost Ninja Henchman is pure cruelty for me. I want both of them. I voted for the Ghost Ninja, just because I knew it would have less votes. I figure the Echo Faction is likely to make it out in some capacity.
