Ages 25 & Up #175 and 176 Superbowl Double Feature!
HissTank.com is proud to present a DOUBLE FEATURE of everyone's favorite 3 & 3/4 Modern Army Comic, Ages 25 & Up! What better way to kick off Super Bowl Sunday?!

Here's what the A25&U creator, Numbers, had to say about the latest installments:

"In #175 "With A Little Help From My Friends," disgraced Cobra Stinger Driver Roy recruits an old friend to help him. After all, if Roy's going to defeat his nemesis, Clutch, he'll need all the backup he can get!

The pedal gets pushed through the metal in #176 "On A Roll"! Roy and Meredith are on the prowl... and Clutch doesn't stand a chance."

Two for the price of one? Can't beat that! Check out the latest issues and join us after the jump!

Hey gang!

Some of my hobbies include collecting figures, photography, and computers. So I figured I'd combine them, and I now make a comic using my GI Joe figures (and in later strips, vehicles).

I've been working on them for a while, so now that I'm as member of HissTank (been using The Tank for Joe news for a while now), I figured [pun not intended] that I'd share my comics with you.

I post them (along with Joe news and other stuff) on the Ages 25 & Up blog: Ages 25 & Up - GI Joe Figcomics

I think I should also mention that Clutch is my favourite Joe and the first story arc is about him not being able to get a 25th update (since the VAMP hadn't come out when I started the comics, and I didn't think I'd see it in Canada at general retail). For more on Clutch, check out his Filecard: YOJOE.COM | Filecard Gallery - Clutch

So far I've only posted 2 of my comics on the blog, so I'll post them both here. Enjoy, and thanks for reading!

Thanks, mate! I really enjoy your 'Joes before Hos' line.

And fear not, Clutch will have his day... some day...
Irid70:
I'm going to make "Sweet Bouncing Tits" my regular exclamation of surprise.

Fine work.

Fine work.
I like to feel like I've made a difference!
Thanks for reading and the kind words.
rob0213:
Very funny. Poor Clutch.

that was awesome man..... hahaha. "you know me, i cant turn down laser surgery", it was so corny it was hilarious. good work dude. bravo bravo!! sweet bouncin tits!!!!
Hicks_Royel:
The laser surgery joke was great. Reminds me of a joint joke from high school.

Good stuff, keep it up.
1337W422102:
You guys are great! Thanks for the support!

I figured I would take Flash's experience with lasers a little further, and make him the Joes' Laser Enthusiast rather than a simple Laser Rifle Trooper. Heck, he's dualwielding lightsabers in my sig! (ok, those aren't exactly lasers, but still)

Glad you guys like the 'sweet bouncing tits' line. It took me a while to think of an exclamation that would suit Clutch, the Original 13's, no, the JOES' official pimp. (I still remember that page from issue #33 when he tried to get Cover Girl to mud-wrestle Scarlett and keep half the cash. Classic.) I was thinking of using 'by Scarlett's rack!' and having her react badly to that exclamation (since she's standing right there), but I decided not to.
Monkeywrench:
I enjoyed them. Poor Clutch.

do more !! i was gonna do that in my display! cut out lil things on paper an glue em on toothpix, but didnt
Spoondini:
Hysterical photo-com. Have you managed to score a Clutch/vamp yet? I really look forward to seeing the 25th clutch in your strip
Imperial_Ozma:
awesome... I love the comic (gotta start my own one of these days).

But I gotta ask about your sig image. Is that the Microman Street fighter Sakura? How does she look when posed with Joes?
1337W422102:
Thanks guys!

@Spoondini: Yep, I finally have a Vamp and The Clutch: my favourite vehicle pack so far!

@Imperial Serpentor: Greetings, fellow Canuck! Yep, that's the Microman Sakura from the Street Fighter series. To answer your question:

Long answer:
She seems a little out-of-place because she has less detail than the Joes, has a very animé face, and since she's a Japanese schoolgirl. But, that aside, she's a little bit shorter/smaller than a Joe (which makes sense she's younger), so size-wise she fits in well.

Short answer:
You'll just have to wait and see!
Lifeline_MD:
Very funny. I feel bad for clutch though.
Driftbot:
i lol'd @ zap's attempted rimshot and resulting silence.
keep it up! funny stuff.
1337W422102:
Sorry for the late post today. I would have posted this sooner, but I went to the Montreal Comicon today. Met Herb Trimpe and he signed some GI Joe comics for me, rummaged through bargain bins, met up with some pretty Transformer fangirls... all in all, a good day.

I wonder if we can say the same for Clutch! Find out in this week's comic, "Taking Chances," part 3 of 4 in the 'Clutch can't get updated nor laid' story arc.

Click on the image to enlarge it. Enjoy!

tweaksalot:
haha, these are cool, they remind me of the toyfare comic strips. good work, keep it up man!
Gungho-joe:
good stuff, real good stuff. cant wait till the next episode, I laughed so hard I woke my two boys up. I need more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Imperial_Ozma:
Keep it up, great work.
1337W422102:
Thanks guys! I really appreciate your feedback, it means a lot to me. Once I finish up some customization projects of mine (Indiana Jones to Deckard from Blade Runner; painting blue cartoon Baroness' outfit black), I'll shoot/'Shop another strip.
Monkeywrench:
Love the new strip. can't wait to see what happens to Clutch
slg:
Good stuff very funny! Clutch has always been a fav of mine.
Johnny:
Just wanted to add another "kudos". You have another impatient fan waiting for the next installment!

I guess that's not his idea of taking a blow to the head...

Thanks for the support guys! I'll have another comic up on Saturday.
shlappyguy:
NIce comic. Clutch has always been my favorite Joe. 14 points of articulation? I think the new figures have a bit more than that...

I think I counted Scarlett's articulation points for that gag.
1-Neck, 2,3-Shoulders, 4,5-Elbows, 6,7-Gloves, 8-Chest, 9,10-Hips, 11,12-Knees, 13-14-Ankles.
The PoA count differs from figure to figure, naturally (double-knee joints, no joint in an arm, etc.)
Monkeywrench:
when does part 4 come?
SnakeMoe:
very nice

I post comics on Saturdays, but since I'm going to be busy on Saturday, I'll post it on Friday for you to enjoy.

It's going to be longest one yet, with larger panels and plenty of action!

right on. I'm looking forward to it
Snake Eyes-Joe Ninja:
Nice!
1337W422102:
As I promised, here's this week's comic. Enjoy!
(Don't forget to click on it to view the full size. It's big!)

Monkeywrench:
I love it. Clutch got his revenge! Whats in store for the next one? Are we going to see Cobra?

I don't have very many Cobra figures yet, so it might be a while until a Cobra story. That being said, I have an idea for a Cobra issue and I'm trying to figure out how to properly present it. I don't want it to suck.

Fear not, Cobra is on the way! You won't see them for another few weeks because they're cooking up an evil plan. A scheme so sinister that it merits an Ages 25 & Up Special Event! Details to come later, and sorry for skimping on the Cobras thus far.

Next week, Breaker admits to Hawk that he's not feeling too optimistic about the upcoming movie, and the Joes try to cheer him up. With a little help from their friends.

Awesome. Cobra can wait. I'm a big fan of your comics. Keep them up.
Homer:
Ah Numbers, the only mofo on the net that can give Clutch, the original 13 pimp, his just desserts.

I've said it on other sites, I love these comics, keep them coming.

Clutch approves of this thread.
Hat Trick:
This is frackin' hilarious..........i'd love to Shipwreck confront Clutch about trying something with Cover Girl....that's be a cool match up. Keep up the good work!
Ev!L ErN!E:
heheheh funny
1337W422102:
Hey Homer! Good to hear from you!
Glad to hear that
(PS: There's something special waiting for ya at the Guilds in the Joe section...)

501, when they make a 25th Cover Girl, you can bet the guys'll get excited. And Shipwreck will make his appearance eventually, but not for a little while longer. He's comin', though!

Getting Joes in Canada sounds much harder than it already is over here, such a shame. I feel sorry for you Canadian fans.

Oh and lovely comic BTW, I loved the part where Clutch ran over Flash.
Imperial_Ozma:
okay, I so need that Sakura Microman figure now that I've seen how she looks with Joes.

Great comic... you gotta find a way to fix the cropping problem on your blog though.

What's the cropping problem? I'm not encountering any, but if you guys are, let me know and I'll get right on it.

EDIT:
Crap! I see what you mean! I hadn't noticed it before because of my screen resolution, but once I restored the window, I see what you mean. Stuff gets cut off like it's nobody's business! I'm working on fixing this problem. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience!

If you guys have any other concerns or problems, please let me know. Thanks a lot!

SUPER EDIT:
Okay, this should be better. Rather than posting images in their full size, I decided to post them sized-down (click on them for full size) and floating in centre, rather than left-margined. Is this better, Imperial_Serpentor? If not, please let me know and I'll fix it up! Thanks!
1337W422102:
Since you guys are so friendly and supportive, here's this week's comic, an hour minus 5 minutes in advance!

Here's the deal: in this issue, I have the Ages 25 & Up characters react to the movie. Or rather, react to Breaker reacting badly to the movie. Can they cheer up ol' Alvin, or will even the Joes need backup on this mission? Find out in issue #5: "The Silver Screen"!

Monkeywrench:
Awesome! #5 is my favorite yet. I loved the chatter between Batman and Clutch at the end. Keep up the good work.
1337W422102:
Thanks, Monkeywrench! Happy you like it. The Batman might make another cameo later on, but there are other stuff I'd like to do first... like introduce Cobra!

Next week, I'm going to try something a little different. Cobra's up to something. Something BIG. Stay tuned!
Monkeywrench:
sweet. I can't wait to see what Cobra is up to.
thewhat?:
great stuff man...funny,funny!
ZARTAN:
very funny stuff thanx for the laughs man
