The thing that got me interested in the GI Joe Club exclusives in the first place was that excellent Iron Grenadiers set they had in 2005. i'll be interested to see what they do when they are able to use 25th toolings. Gulfster: now I'm going to have to join Tazzzman: I like the fact that they are building on to previous con sets to get us more troops. I might have to get a few more when they have them for sale. As for preorders and such. Being an Officer has wicked cool benefits in that department. I got wave 5 Comic packs for retail price! (And it only took half a week to get them!) Money-B: That fig is nice. If there weren't enough reasons to join the club, here is another one. Lantern_Lad: Meh... nowhere near as cool as Cobra Commander Crimson Rage: Kuh! Thought it was a new sculpt like their Copperhead and Nullifiier. Not really interested in another 'classic' Undertow. GGPiKE: Awesome figure! I've been looking forward to this since JoeCon. I love the fact that the figure augments the 05 MARS Invades con set. Absolutely a home run. Jdizzle66: its metalhead meets king trident from the little mermaid Barefoot Jedi: They may get me with this one. That Undertow looks quite good. I've never liked any of their enticements much 'til now. flywheels: I too wish they would start using the new figure construction, but at least its a RAH mold and an addition to the great '05 set. *checks his membership expiration* Yes! I won't have to re-new until after the deadline to get the free fig! King_Snake: wow, looks like they might have some pretty nice deals in the store...before I join, how much is their shipping and handling on average? How quick are they and how much do they charge for shipping on their pre-orders compared with BBTS? RolandofGilead: Their Officer Level prices on regular items are comparable to store prices. They blow all on-line dealer pre-orders away, but they don't usually get things FIRST. The exclusives can be expensive, but they are afterall exclusives. When I've ordered in-stock items, I usually get them within 2-3 days regular shipping.
I joined to pick up last year's Copperhead figure but I wasn't all that impressed with this year's Cobra Commander (he's for sale if you want him). I will definitely be renewing my membership for next year based solely on the coolness of this figure.
I may have "left" RAH behind with the advent of the 25th line, but I can't quit the club's amazing Iron Grenadier figures. |
