The Transformers Collectors’ Club brings the Humans!
Fort Worth, TX – August 14th, 2014 – Fun Publications, Inc., licensee for Hasbro’s official Transformers Collectors’ Club, is excited to announce their first ever 3 ¾ inch human figure from the Transformers mythos… Marissa Faireborn!
Fans of the Transformers franchise will recognize Marissa as the Earth Defense Command (EDC) pilot from season 3 of the original Transformers cartoon. What G.I. Joe fans will recognize is the name, “Faireborn”. As Season 3 of the Transformers series took place a couple decades AFTER G.I. Joe, this crossover character was in fact, as intended by Story Editor Flint Dille who worked on both Transformers and G.I Joe, the daughter of G.I. Joe members Flint and Lady Jaye!
In addition to this great action figure offering, Marissa will also be riding in to action with her Autobot ally, Afterburner! Both will be revealed tomorrow on the Transformers Collectors’ Club Facebook page. However, in the meantime we are thrilled to present the art for Marissa Faireborn w/ Afterburner by Robert Q. Atkins and Jesse Wittenrich.
This figure, along with the motorcycle accessory, will be available for order through the Transformers Collectors’ Club early Spring 2015. For more information on the exclusive figure offerings of the TCC, including Lio Convoy, Nova Prime and the TFSS 3.0, please visit Transformersclub.com.

All the news is on facebook posted by YoJoe.com. Sounds interesting, I guess the club is taking over making future cross over stuff maybe.

Looks like they're probably going to use Ret Firefly's motorcycle and Resolute Scarlett's body maybe, dunno. They'll have pictures up tomorrow.

They should make this available to joe club members as well. I don't want to have to join the transformers club just for this.

I'd rather have this figure than the arctic Mindbender we'll be getting.

and so it comes to pass
that the 1/18 scale reaches critical mass
and its momentum gets to the point where a lifelong dream
Of Gi Joe sized transformer toys finally happen.

It's a cool idea to add human figures to Transformers yet giving the figure a motorcycle accessory instead of an actual transforming Transformer partner is kinda lame.
Trigue says
Maybe they'll use that transforming cycle thing from POC. Who know for sure until tomorrow, it wouldn't be the first time the club made something that didn't match their artwork.
If the Transformers club is doing Faireborn then the Joe Club should do Old Snake.
skinny says
Bought. Even at nonmember prices this is a must have.
Trazz says
yay, an exclusive I have no interest in and therefore don't have to fork over mounds of cash for.
