| Target Exclusive Tiger Rat & Python Patrol Conquest |

Thanks for the pictures and the post Destro BigErn: Wow I had no idea these were coming, it's nice to be surprised every once in a while. Aside from another Wild Bill these are pretty sweet. Steel Brigade: AWESOME!! Thanks for the pics... looks like will all be running to Target again...
Tiger Force Wild Bill? They did Recondo as Wild Bill in the UK, but he was never a Tiger Force ARAH member here untill '03 (which this one does not resemble). OSOK: repaints? who am I kidding I'm still buying them Dawg99: wicked can't wait for these gonna need 2 of each Melissa: Python Patrol Viper? Why not a Strato Viper or a Baby Rattler pilot? That being said yes I will Prob. get them.
At least the other ones will go on clearance before then. SNAKE EYES: I might buy the Tiger Rat, but I'm not sure about the Python Patrol Conquest.
I do know one thing I won't go crazy trying to get either one of these like I did the 1st 2 planes. I was like a crack head trying to get my next fix looking for those things and calling and checking the web site and now they mock me at any and every Target I walk into just sitting on the shelves waiting to go on clearance and then they will mock me again because I paid full price and they will be 10.00  Batmandk02: CRAP!!! That's more money for some plastic!!! And just think.. they look so cool until we break em open and get the "LOOSE MISSLES THAT FALL OFF AND PAPER STICKERS THAT WON'T STICK!!!!" At least the Viper is a generic troop builder pilot... Sucks for those wanting to troop-build him though.
Sometimes, Hasbro's decisions make no sense whatsoever.
I'm really starting to lose interest in these big-ticket exclusives (repaints) with shitty figures. I may not even get them, for once. The first releases were cool, but these are just both repaints, of a sub-line that I never liked even back when they were brand new.
Why Wild Bill? Seriously? Did they pick their worst, non-Duke Joe pegwarmer? Joe has other pilots. Hell, reuse the TRU Ace in a new color scheme, or how about Ripcord from existing parts? Jesus. Zefram: Tiger Rat look like it got hit with a heat-seeking ugly missle. And do we really need ANOTHER Wild Bill. The PP Conquest looks crazy though. shipwreak73: Come on Hasbro, at least change it up a little bit. Maybe a Python Rattler and a TF Conquest instead? Hey, how about both options for both! I agree with Mandigo Rex, Python Patrol- Tiger Force... they're the perfect candidates for exclusives. Having new characters as exclusives where they are mostly 100% recycled body parts is a waste of that character.

Custom Skystriker time (the pilot, not the plane). Shin Densetsu: OH HELL YEA! Back in 1987 I was shopping with my parents and found the Tiger Rat. I wanted it but mom said no. Now I will finally be able to get one, and one that can fit my modern era figures at that! I've loved the Tiger Force and Python patrol schemes, they look great on aircraft. Can anyone imagine a Tiger Force Skystriker? Or a Python Patrol Night Raven? I've seen a custom of the latter and it is excellent. Now I always wanted the Python Patrol Conquest too. My friend had one which was busted, but I still marveled at it when I was younger nonetheless. Now I can have that too!
I wish different figures were included though, maybe an AVAC repaint or Paraviper with the Conquest, and definitely Skystriker for the Tiger Rat. Steeler's head with Hawk's comic pack visor would have worked for me. Inaccurate but it works for me. I am going to check and see if the Paraviper can sit in the Conquest. At least Bill includes a pilot helmet, and the viper has fixed hands.
The main thing I don't like is the artwork. The Tiger Rat one is bearable, proportionally it is awkward, but the Conquest...whoa...there is a ton I can say on that image alone...the shadow underneath the plane...it is too close, that thing is going to hit the ground or mountains quick! Not to mention it doesn't make sense considering everything else drawn in the background. I'm glad we are back to covered boxes, but I prefer the original artwork to this, I am all about new artwork, but am particularly picky when it comes to aircraft. Darth Jay: Quote:

Let me jump on the bandwagon and beat the "why the hell do we get a fourth Wild Bill" horse to death. I mean, seriously. It came with Skystriker originally!
I'll definitely get both though. As a matter of fact, the Tiger Rat holds a special place in my heart. One of my favorite vehicles I had growing up, mostly because I had a brindle Boxer named Tiger and loved all the Tiger Force stuff... Jediorc: goddam repaints!!! I want new vehicles!!!
