damn thats some roadblock ass shyte gunslingercbr: there just isn't any need for that 12" line if they can't get them to look better than that. skatezaz: what is diamond? those are the only vehicles i think are cool and i want them, the figures look really nice too RolandofGilead: I'm really liking the Lift Ticket. I might just have to get some of these combat heroes now that they made barbecue. I was hoping to stay away from that line, but I might get a few of my favs. statesofeuphoria: That Lift Ticket looks great as does Copperhead. They should use all that expensive plastic to make more 3.75" and charge less. That crap sits on the shelves now. Who's that supposed to appeal to? Thank you so much for the new head, Hasbro (he even has a doofy smile like the OG) it's impressive how close he matches even though he's mostly Airborne, i love it when they got the 2 figures/one body thing right (Snow Job/Wild Weasel for instance). Can't wait for these vehicles!!!
I'm not getting the Combat Heroes, but the are incredibly cute and really well done overall. Dig Destro and Flint the most.
ARGH, they are doing Shockwave in the crap-ass 12" line before 4"  no big surprise, these continue too suck. but what sucks more, Destros red velvet pants or Shockwave's super-clashy purple pants. ugh. seriously, who is designing and approving these?

They also fixed his left hand and gave him better gloves. Sure they aren't as nice, but Snake Eyes won't be here until 1st Q of 09 and Cobra Commander not until 2nd Q 09. I wish it would be sooner, so we can get other characters by that time. I'm pretty sure I'm going to stop buying the 3 3/4" Joes and just pick up the Combat Heroes to get my GI Joe fix. I'm gonna be all over the Ghost Hawk....need at least three or four. Now they need to come out with a Frakin' Tomahawk or a 4" scaled DragonHawk for WildBill and LiftTicket. Golobulous: so what month issue of diamond previews has the water moccasin and sky hawk? fireflyguy: I am really diggin' that (Sky Hawk) and Lift Ticket! Gonna add that to the list! code_red_shockwave: The 12" figures do look pretty lousy...I don't get why Shockwave would have purple pants to begin with. Maybe as a bad guy that would work but ugh.
Copperhead is all right, but I wish they gave him different gloves...then he'd be more versatile.
Lift Ticket looks nice, but I would rather have a Sky Patrol Airborne since technically they use the same mold just a different head. prozac: I <3 Ghost Hawk with lift ticket. botticus: Wow, couple other Combat Heroes I'm gonna have to get in addition to Bazooka, Firefly and SE. Definitely Beachhead, maybe Barbecue and Serpentor. Too bad those last two aren't together.
Vehicles look really nice. kennywr22: Man i don't care what anyone says those combat heroes are just to cool. The vehicles are very nice as are the 2 figures they come with. It's December solitications, so it would be in this month's or next month's Previews.
That Ghost Hawk kicks ass. Wonder why they changed the name. Two of the vehicles I most wanted (Water Moccasin and Sky Hawk). Not necessarily the figure I wanted with the Sky Hawk, but both look damn cool so I'll be happy. |
