Modern era wave 13 has been released! This wave has been found at a art2614's local comic shop, so it is only a matter of time before we see widespread release! We can now have the first looks at the Resolute Cobra Trooper, Resolute Duke, Repaint Firefly, and a closer look at Blowtorch, Dreadnok Torch, and Resolute Cobra Commander!

    Because those grubby bastards stole the pics from the hisstank member, and are passing them off as their own.
    Who is to say that the set they are selling on ebay are in as good condition as those pics.
    Besides, when you sell stuff on ebay, you need to have pics of your own stuff, as stealing pics of someone else's stuff is lame, and very dishonest.

    Unfortunately, that happens all the time. You never know if what you are looking at is the actual item or a "stock pic" as some of them will disclose in small print. ebay doesn't crack down on that stuff.

    Oh, I didn't know that.

    This is why when I take pics for ebay, I put a piece of paper in with the item with my ebay ID name on it and when I post pics here, I try to get an Eel in with it to make it obvious it's mine.

    First impressions:

    Blowtorch: I loved this figure back in the 80s, and they did a great job on him here.

    Firefly: A good figure the 1st time, and even better the 2nd time. This 3rd version looks like a carded Firefly from the TRU exclusive. Yawn.

    Ripper: A little dull. I like the colors on the comic 2-pack better.

    Resolute Duke: A cool way to make this figure palatable and different from the previous releases.

    Resolute Cobra Commander: Looks awesome! I like the long coat look and helmet variation.

    Resolute Trooper: Very cool though the shades of blue remind me of Shockwave.

    This is the first wave I won't be buying every fig. Blowtorch looks great and is the only figure I'm interested in. Not feeling the Resolute figs at all.

    I haven't decided yet, but as they are in the 2 cases I ordered, I have my chance of looking at them closely and making a better decision.

    If not, I will offer them up here.

    I have to say I ain't thrilled with the Resolute figs.. The cartoon looks bitchin' tho. Blowtorch friggin' rocks (as if y'all didn't know) and I can definitely see the potential for a Mercer custom from Resolute Duke (and what's this I hear about Thunder?? gimme some pics Someone!!!). I think I will still get the Firefly. Its a crappy repaint and a peg warmer to boot but he looks like he would go well commanding the Nightwatch troopers from the toys r us pack, true? (same basic paint/camo scheme)
