I looked everywhere in the stores, called, had people check stock in the back and turned up with NOTHING! The way I see it, the $10 for shipping is worth the time and gas I'd spend tracking these down...I figure at least I've secured a set! How much do you want to bet though that the next time I go to Target I see an entire endcap...

| Far better with regards to sticking(the sharkmouth on the Tiger Rat, eh...good luck putting it one without creasing). Now the bad thing about the stickers, is that the graphics are not opaque! So for example, you can see through the Tiger Force logo a bit, same with the roundel insignia.
Something light like the Python Patrol Conquest's Cobra symbol w/wings can be seen through somewhat; the python pattern can be seen a bit through the sticker.
Now these are superior to paper stickers because paper stickers are very obvious with the white edges, and peel quicker. The clear border gloss stickers like the ones with these sets are best, but man, the graphics need to be opaque. Rivan01: What is the AAA website? i want my 10%!!! i don't remember the first time this was spotted in retail, at least a month ago, and all i see is pilot scarlet, conquest, and serps chariot. this was at many targets in 4 diff. states! i think i am going to wait this one out this time. no reason to give that crap store any more $ than necessary. besides, i have 2 of each of the originals, i think i can hold out.

| I've noticed in the past that they are more willing to support Hasbro's endeavors than their rivals at times. They have also gotten better exclusives overall from Hasbro. Chances are, they were the only retailer willing to even sell larger G.I. Joe vehicles(the planes), and for that, Hasbro gave them the exclusive planes.
As far as stocking up, my area is typically dry all around, we usually get stuff last, but Target has been restocking and replenishing the pegs more often recently. SPC Airborne: Glad I don't have to keep checking the stores for these anymore! Ordered 1 of each! goldendeedsofman: I found them at my local target but who wants the PP jet? all I want is the viper. Its simple. Take a look at the other shelves. Target stocks a ton of Hasbro products. Especially board games. VIPER 48: I got one of each and with shipping it came to 59.81... Not bad at all... My reasoning exactly. polyphenus: I got my shipment notification email this morning. I only ordered one of each since the box art hides the fact that the jet isn't in the box anymore. I wish Hasbro continues box art for the remaining vehicles as it's a nice nod to the past. arch2b: not everyone is going to like these naturally, and as very evident by some of the replies.
the point of this thread being the availability online is a big plus for all of us. while i prefer to wait for in store purchase, the option to buy online is very nice to have. not everyone has access to a target or a target that will stock these. its very evident that distribution varies greatly, even in the same region.
many stores within 30 miles of me have had these for weeks while the 2 targets within 4 miles still have not gotten them. boff123: Quote:
