Modern Era Arctic Scarlett Revealed 32586d1244979503-new-scarlett-
Xingzhangi joe has posted images of Arctic Scarlett from a canceled Modern Era comic pack. It's isn't known yet if the comic pack and others will eventually see the light of day at retail. Could the canceled comic packs be released as exclusives at select retailers during Fall?

In addition, HISS Tank.com boards member M_Renegade has posted information on what accessories were planned for this figure:
  • Machine gun and regular gun
  • Skis
  • Brown pilot's vest from Pilot Scarlett
  • Small backpack with holes

hey there dunno if this is new news or old . or if I posted it in the right place. I mostly stick to commenting . but a friend of mine sent me a pic of a new scarlett with newer colours it could be another test shot one it was up on taobao . it looks like another atempt or maybe early atempt at the AF colur
M_renegade:
    Good finding.
    THAT is Arctic Scarlett.
tycondrius:

    Yeah.
Equipment planned for her was the same pilot vest (brown), a machine gun (i think it's a m-16), a small backpack (with holes), a set of skys (same than Snow job i think), and the regular gun.
steve2477:
    Cool.

But the colors are all wrong. If it's an arctic figure, it should be greys and whites, not green and brown and if it's a Quarrel homage, the body should be black/dark grey and the arms and legs should be green

Besides, that's a different head and legs (Lady Jaye's) than what we've seen on newer versions of her: Modern Era Scarlett As Action Force Quarrel Homage Reviewed - GI Joe News
(I forget what the first pictures of "Arctic Scarlet" from the comic pack looked like so maybe this is one of those?)
GMW79:
Kinda reminds me of Thunder, actually...
foor:
    Cool

Believe me, this IS Artic Scarlett.
I think painting is not finished on it.
MrClean:
I remember Steel Brigade posting about this figure before we had seen it. The comic that would have went along with this figure had her looking like this, with lady jaye's legs, and the coloring as well. Hasbro was calling it "Arctic Scarlet", even though it wasn't really Arctic colors.
thanks for the pic! Nice to finally see it!

But Snake-Eyes is Ninja, he has powers of hiding in plain sight
shlappyguy:
Maybe we should call it "Tundra Scarlett", in honor of her colors?

    ^ right on MrClean.
This figure has the RIGHT combination of parts to be the elusive Resolute comic pack "Arctic Scarlett."
She has the "Lady Jaye legs" that where shown on that figures construction for the Resolute comic illustrations. It's nice to finally see what this figure would have looked like, colors aside I thought this figure might have also had the "Resolute Scarlett" head but it looks like they would have opted to use the original head after all.
And oh yes, I must have her. lol
These comic pics illustrate my point below. The color also matches closley to the cover art...

SNAKE EYES:
    Nice find Tycondrius
DaViper:
so is that scarlett a straight repaint? I was hoping this would have been a painted resolute version...

    Truth^

I remember when M_renegade first joined he posted info and comic covers for Arctic Scarlett vs. Arctic CC comic pack and he also posted the info and comic covers for the Diver-Duke vs. Lamprey comic pack. Both packs that have now been cancelled, but we are getting the Lamprey and Diver-Duke now repainted as Wet-Suit in the 7 packs, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Arctic Scarlett and CC down the road.

SB with the info and pic back-up for M_renegade
Hope she shows up on eBay so you can get her easier, because buying off Taobao just seems like a pain.
Dreadnoks-R-Go:
Sorry ta bring this up here but this fig. just reminds me of this one nagging question....Why in the hell did Hasbro can Modern Era figs. and comic packs? And don't tell me it's so they can focus on the movie, they're got every random Star Wars character on the pegs. If some one can point me the way to the proper thread!? Thanks!!
joecom:
Why oh why Hasbro do you torture us fans :(

should have never canceled Wave 14

you should have released it as one last nice gesture to the fans then stop. but you did not :( shame Hasbro
M_renegade:
    Yeah, pity.

I've seen the designs of that CC too, and it's awesome. I think it was the strong figure on that pack.
dsrader:
    Cool!
acmilan8540:
what's the point of having this one?
100 yuan.........rather buy some loose figures than this repaint

    Yup

    A few miscelaneous notes:

-In the ASvsACC, Scarlett has the crossbow where the gun is in the pilot vest. The crossbow is the only weapon she doesn't have in the toy.
-It won't be surprising to find her as a night force version or something like that, much like T Rat or Gung-Ho.

-There's a 99% that Wet-Suit is actually Diver Duke (hence WS doesn't have the charcteristic helmet). If you take a close look, he does resemble the Resolute Duke face. The designs i've seen where Wet Suits, but the final color for the cover shows UD as a full black suit...another night force version? They already released Wet down, but i didn't see his face...
samantha:
Not bad. I kind of like this.
night force jazz:
I want one of those figures. It's literally a crap color scheme but it's kind of cool IMO.

Got a link to any current auctions of the figure?
tycondrius:

well if i was to see this chick in the snow, she'd be dead. point blank.. that's not much of blending in the enviroment if you ask me. this is more like jungle colors. she should be dressed like luke in the planet hoth imo
Flint071:
I'll say it again - Why not the Resolute Arctic Scarlett - twin pistols and all.
The Mad Bubbler:
Yes, where is this listed for sale?
dsrader:
    I want one!

On the Chinese auction site Taobao for around $15.00 (U.S.) plus shipping. Here is the link: Taobao/Scarlett
Ground Pounder:
I hope they release a Scarlett in these colors actually. I like the more militaristic color scheme to go with my original 13.

    ^I do what I can.

And I am also hoping one of our friends in China posts her on ebay, as I shall be needing one. lol
MLCISME:
The colors kinda make me think she should be driving a Slugger
State Trooper:
Nice move with using Lady Jayes legs.
MeLikeJinx:
After seeing the Resolute Scarlett prototype pics I have a hard time accepting any of the other older mold Scarletts. LOL.
