For that price each!! FORGET IT!! Lame e-tail exclusive. They will be jacked up all over the place, and with shipping costs added, not worth it at all. Way to get the fans excited and involved only to stick it to them in the end.

I am not a MOC collector but I will be getting these and keeping them on card in protective cases.A little on the pricey side though.

It is hard to tell from the pics, you never know, it might have more detailed paint apps up close, but the boxed pic might obscure it. I don't know. I figure there must be some incentive for getting these figures, a reason that makes fans want these over the previous versions. We'll see.

The packaging looks damn nice. I wasn't expecting anything like that.

I'll have to wait for comparison shots between this and the previous Viper. The chrome head looks suspiciously larger. :(

I thought the same thing. I'm thinking the blue helmet might be a separate piece entirely.

I can't say that I am chomping at the bit to buy a Viper with minor tweaks on a gold-foil card for 10-12 bucks when I already have several perfectly serviceable Vipers gotten for half that. Hopefully other Hall of Heroes figures will have further incentive.

If all that's different is paint apps, then it's not worth it. Just another repaint.

Will be majorly disappointed in the Hall of Heroes line if that's the case. I seriously hope there's more to the figures then packaging and rereleases of corrected versions we've already seen.

The e-tailer thing makes complete sense to me. The Hall of Heroes wave is for collector's, not people that play with 'em. So why bother selling those in stores?

I am perfectly happy with the 25th Viper the way it is now, in fact once the TRU 5 pack comes out I will be army building them--I have 7 of them now. At $10-12 bucks each i won't even touch the "etail" exclusive--especially when you know the TRU Viper army pack is gonna 24.99.

why does any Viper need goggles, whether it is a chrome face or painted silver?...so Hasbro, the dumbass morons, can stick it to the true fans who've stuck it out until the end and who pay their bills and are rewarded by being raped because the people in charge of running a billion dollar company obviously know nothing about the toy industry! shouldn't that have been obvious.

oh, I almost forgot, worst repaints ever (even though we have only seen on figure and it doesn't appear to be a repaint).

Hasbro hit one out of the park with the packaging for MOC collectors. If the others look the same as this, it will be quite a nice collection to display.

I might buy some of these "Hall of Heroes" figures if they are different enough from those released elsewhere. Here is hoping for cartoon colored Flint and Zartan.

I've said before that I might not be buying the Hall of Heroes figures, as the new 5 packs pretty much do it for me, at a cheaper price. The Hall of Heroes figures have great packaging, and I hope we see more images, with better details. For MOC displays, they can't be beat, but I'm an opener.

So these figures will be single carded (like 25th joes) but sold inside a collectors box like the picture shown?

Good point about the MOC displays, I know not everybody collects this way but those who do have to love the way these look.

They look great. I doubt I'll buy them at that price point, as I'm not a MOC collector. Still, it's a really nice display for those who want to go that route.
