For a repaint its a very good idea and we all know repaints are a fact of life. I like Ninjas and the colors are worthy of a small troop build. However I think the lack of a set of Nunchuks is very lame. The main weapon shown on the card art should always be included with the figure. With that said its a Black Ninja, we will all buy it anyway.

ARBCOToys:
I like him but those flimsy swords are so lame compared to the now superior sword La Parka Snake-eyes comes with.
DarthBrett:
It's the only figure in wave 9 that I have absolutely zero interest in adding to my collection. Guess it's because it wasn't based on an original ARAH figure (I know, I know.....it's a nod to the international figure, but I don't acknowledge those as being part of the old ARAH line that was sold in the US since they were only sold overseas).
artiepants:
He's nice enough, but he'd be way cooler with the aforementioned nun-chucks and dark skin like the original. and the gold swords are kinda "meh"
RockinHard:
Destro, or whomever else wants to answer,

Why isn't he referred to as Storm Shadow in your review, but the figure itself is codenamed: Storm Shadow? Isn't he Storm Shadow?
TheLongestDay:
I want as many of these as i can get so if anyone can get em when the time comes please gimme a shout! Ive got lots to trade (check the thread in my sig)
Greyryder:
I just don't get the whole ninja thing. I know it was a big fad, in the 80s, but I don't like the ninja take over of GI Joe. I remember when StormShadow was the only ninja in the line, and Snake Eyes was a commando with a lot martial arts training.
daremo:
I think the whole ninja thing got out of hand and pretty much killed a part of GI Joe, and I love ninjas. I'll still get Ninja-Ku, and give him custom nunchucks and swords.
TheLongestDay:
I look at ninjas the same way i look at Jedi in Star wars, they are the coolest and most interesting characters for me-ninjas are an important part of gi joe IMO
hectorxd:
This is my favorite pic that Destro included.

I feel like you are rubbing it in that we dont have these figs and you do... :( jk show us the rest from this wave and tell us all the good and bad.
ARBCOToys:
The ninjas were the start, the space stuff is what finished it for me. Or was it the other way around? I can't remember back that far. Actually, I can't remember back to my original post in this thread.
ultramax:

    Definitely!
jamarmiller:
this is the only one Im actually buying, To be honest the foreign repaints are the single most exciting thing for me out of all of this

so ya keep them coming I love SATAN and NINJA KU, now lets just hope the pilot scarlett is GLENDA
C.I.A.D.:
IMHO, this is a great release. Although "just a repaint", it's an international figure that otherwise, many would've never heard of and/or owned. I'm all sorts of excited to add Ninja-Ku to my collection.
Pimp Daddy Darklon:
No way this will be a pegwarmer as it could be used as Black Ninja army building.

Any pic of the filecard? I'm curious how they integrate the international ones.
Syn3sthesia:
    Ah yes, Nightforce Storm Shadow!!!
Gung.Heaux:
    trash

I agree! I'm just completing my run of the Marvel comics and all the later issues were just ninjas, ninjas, ninjas. It was very lame.
Crimson Rage:
I could live without another version of Storm Shadow, but he looks good in those colours. I'll be treating him as a totally new character.
Iron Spider-Man:
I daresay this will do a long way towards having a 25th Anniversary Bolo. Sure mine won't be as awesome as Jin Saotome's, (knives in the thighs wut?) but at least I'll have one.
Loose Cannon:
Why could they not just make him a black guy like he's suppose to be?
jamarmiller:
thats what I want to know! I submitted that question to the last Hasbro Q and A thing but the question never got asked, they went to a lot of trouble to get him so close to the original so why didnt they go all the way, they got the name Ninja ku out it on the package , got the art , did the same colors, WHY

Well does anyone know when does this come out? im buying multiples

    amen brother AMEN
Monkeywrench:
I'm not too pumped about this one but I will get 1.
murphbri:
That's pretty awesome that Hasbro dug up the original international art for this fig.

...and that's pretty crappy that they then dropped the ball by not having the fig's arms match the art, and leaving out the nunchuks on top of that.

Seriously, it would have cost them LESS to just mold the arms in black and paint the wrist bands bronze. I just don't get it.
