They have a reputation for being formidable fighters in sub-zero temperature conditions. However, all that meanness didn't come out of nowhere. They are a branch from the ranks of the Eels. As such, they have undergone the same extreme aquatic training and, in addition to that, they are trained to be well versed or familiar in every possible type of infantry operation in an extreme environment such as the Arctic. From marching 50 miles with full gear to anti-tank tactics to airborne operations, they have to be able to do it all.

| DESTRO: The Snow Serpent is going to one of those must have for Troop Builder Fans. It does have similar range of motion when holing rifles like Wave 9 Hawk. The figure uses some old school parts that fit right in with the Modern Era Body Style.
The feet have 2 holes in them, one to hold the snow shoe and the other for the peg stand. This was a good idea and improvement IMO because I like to display the figures with the stands and this feature makes it easy. The Arctic Snake Eyes could use this sort of improvement.
The Goggles do not move or detach. Like Barbecue the Shoulder Pads are removable and this figures gear can be re-used for all kinds of customs.

While my Cobra troopers are in squads of 5, the specialists like the Snow Serpent, or Airtroopers are always in sets of 3. The BATs I consider regular troopers (of a sort) so it'll be 5 of those if I can find them. Monkeywrench: He looks awesome! Shame about the goggles, though. I had two of the original, and this is one I'll definitely want. I remember being REALLY careful with them when I took them outside to play in the snow [I'm amazed I still have all the accessories!].
I'm going for at least 3, but 5 would be perfect for me. Elite Force Cobra: sweet figure thanks Destro! A.V.A.C.: these look awesome. i really like the hands, they actually look like they can hold a weapon properly. Jose Castro: Cannot.....stop.....drooling......*sirp*.....so... so...beautifull... Firewall: This is a must have atleast 20+ of these guys!!!! Stormavik: Between these and the Bats I'm gonna be broke! kilowatt: This is one that I have really been waiting for and those pics are just making the wait that much harder. Cavbeast: Wow, i'm drooling over a figure...awesome. I can't wait to go play in the snow with these. Snake in a Parka vs about 20 of these.
Now i just gotta figure out how to kitbash some plague figure too...

If not its customize time Saboteur: I was going to pass on him, but he looks really good..Saboteur murphbri: Can't wait to get my hands on a couple of these guys! I'm so glad that Hasbro didn't cheap out and chose to include all of his very cool accessories. The dual peg-holes in the feet is another nice detail.

I wish the goggles could flip down over the eyes though. jdizz76: I love this figure; a 9 without question. The sculpt is perfect, the color scheme is right on, and the articulation couldn't be better. Plus, he just looks bad @$$. A must have! These, along with the BATs, will for sure lead me to army-building. |
