Just got home from work and got a new package in the mail today.

what are these figure u have pictured were did u get these

I dig the Fred head CC and will pick up the storm shadow as I need one of each released.

On the fence about the VvV style duke and CC.

you got them loose?

not to offend or anything.... if these are what we're getting for wave 13 and such? major pass.

any other accessories not pictured with those?

the cobra trooper is cool... and expected based off the Flint. An extra of these guys for Mutt's head and I'll have the scene from the cartoon ready to go

are these for real? how did you get them? no offense but i smell something fishy.

I don't think this is all we have until the movie line hits. Hasbro is not as silly as to release nothing but repaints and then do a movie line for half a year.
I still think we are going to get at least one more good wave with new joes and cobras.

Very interesting? where did you get these from? Since some of the figures are missing pieces.. like the paraviper and scrap iron, they remind me of the bats that were leaked out early from Hong Kong that were missing belts, gun holsters, backpacks and extra attachments.

I kinda dig a few of those figures though. Like the Trooper and Rock N Roll.

I believe these are real. You can get lots of upcoming figures from HK/China lately...

Some thoughts...

- Is that the Deepsix that will be included in the 2-pack Rock&Roll/DEE (presumed Deepsix)

- If that's Omega Force/Resolute, then pass. They're just frankenstein bodies with funky comic 2-pack colors.

if these are official, between them and wave 12, I think it is clear the Joe team has shifted it's resources away from the "25th" line and towards the movie line. hopefully the movie line can deliver.

Besides... these matches all the rumors.

The Armored CC could be from the rumored Comic 2pack. I mean where else is Fred in the Armored CC suit but the comics. Guess this would be another "Pass!" for everyone.

Is the CC helmet retooled to fit Fred's head? When I kitbashed mine the helmet was a bit tight...

Why the need to be so defensive? Just simple info like how you got them and stuff like that would do. thanks for the pics

Oh and I think that trooper IS the Flint, minus the head. See the thread with the new Flint/Trooper, it comes with an extra trooper head.

The Cobra Trooper, I think, is just the Flint Cobra Trooper with the Cobra guys head on.

And Scrap Iron is just the the normal Scrap Iron. I thought he was supposed to have the scars anyways.

And everything else looks pretty much lame. Lame repaint garbage. They couldn't even fix Gung Ho? After all the time they had to do so? Wow..

More Snake Eyes. More Storm Shadow. More Cobra Commander. Wow.......so exciting.....

I like the Duke, but I will buy almost any Duke..he's one of my faves. I really like the repaint of Gung Ho...much more military looking than the turqouise vest.

I also dig the 'metallic' Deep Six. Way better than flat gray.

why are you not excited? Afterall, this is what Hasbro thinks we and the kids want....if anything, these are gonna clutter the shelves with disgraceful repaints and our beloved "new" characters continue to sit on the backburner...seems like the rest of the way is gonna be franken repaints from here on...guess after wave 11,I am done! thanks for saving me money Hasbro

But those feel LAME... sorry...

minus scrap iron,dusty, and the paratrooper, these all look like custom paint jobs to me.

I like the figures, and i will get them, but i was a bit saddened by the Resolute Duke figure. I was really hoping for something special. I'm not sure what though... I expected maybe Duke torso, revised duke arms, Beachhead legs, and the new comic pack Beachhead vest.
Again, not sure what i was expecting. They could turn out great, who knows. I really hope they put some attention to the Resolute Scarlett figure. They need to redo her legs, same with baroness.

Everyone cried that too when the wave 8 pics came out. I was one of them, but we all ate humble pie a week or two after. Sometimes you wish it was just a custom you saw though.

so why would they come out with an entire new gi joe series, and to promote it use repaints of existing figures. that doesnt make sense

I will be saving major scratch on these waves.

Remember that it is a Joe series of 5 minute webisodes...we're not talking the launch of a major daily or weekly cartoon. They're not gonna over extend on the merchandising of something that size.

The Omega figs don't have the 'cartoony' style of Resolute. They're just 25th figs with new parts an colours. At least they should change the heads to match the cartoon.

And they also just seem amateur repaints, but we've seen that before...

Yes, but you have to admit irid70 it doesnt look like they're over extending on the merchandising of something the size of the modern era line anymore.
I think Slinger is correct. Hasbro has already started putting their efforts into the movie line and I hope it is good.
There's still a part of me though that says were gonna get some good joes next year before the movie hits though. Here's to hoping!

i think hasbro just forgot to pace themselves.
looks to me like they came out with so much awesome stuff so fast, the kinda had to just give us some filler for the rest of the year. 2009 should be fantastic all over again. they have come too far to just fall on thier faces already. give them a chance. they really knocked my socks off with the DVD packs.

however i do agree this wave is seriously lacking any effort. pass on all except dusty and scrap iron for me.

Umm, that's how Battle Armored Cobra Commander was in the comics after Fred impersonated him. Deep Six has a new head for the one with the Sharc. This one is just a repaint of that or are you just saying that the one with the Sharc is just as crappy?

Haha, that's what I thought too. Just realized after some more looking is that it's basically a repaint of Mutt's parts. I gotta look at Mutt again and see if he's got the same looking thighs to him.

Duke's head is just too small for that body. Cobra Commander appears to be gearing up to play soccer with those shin guards. Storm Shadow seems based on the t-crotch JvC version (strange choice). Gung Ho can easily be the international Goucho.

Duke looks odd. TF flint torso + Bazooka crotch and legs + baby duke head + roadblock vest = WTF?

If these are all the figures to come then I say thank you, Hasbro, I'll finally be saving some money for other things until you wake up and stop with the re-paints and make more new characters.

Well, I like the Gung Ho repaint. Wish they'd put the damn arms on correctly. They did it right for Storm Shadow and Torch, why can't they do it right on Gung Ho!?!

WOO HOO! More kitbash fodder! Can't really say I'm excited for many of those aside from Dusty, the new trooper and Para-Viper.

Don't know about the torso, but it looks like other than the head, torso and arms, the rest of him is Mutt. Can't tell on the torso though as I can't remember how Mutt's torso looked like. Didn't Mutt have TF Flint's arms as well except for his left forearm?
