Yes he does have the Cloth Gear for his Helmet. Mine was torn when he arrived so it was not included in the photos.

This figure is really nice. I'm sure we will see a repaint of the one at JoeCon sometime down the line, however I'm glad we are getting this version after seeing it first hand.
Prince of Fire & Thunder:
    Huh?
mech-grunt:
    ???
The Superfly:
ah man, I was hoping we'd see the other version. Oh well, at least we're getting a Dusty.

Cloth on Helmet...Thank goodness!! its not Dusty without it
sgtapon:
i seriously want them to make a friggin tunnel rat...dusty looks awesome though........i now need him. please tell me those aren't duke arms....(bad eye sight)
wheeljaxx:
    cool.
Gung.Heaux:
pardon my dummyness, what other version of dusty is there?
ShadoViper:
Not too impressed. It still won't stop me from buying the dvd pack. My impression may change after seeing him first hand.
artiepants:
the one that had camo and colors like the original, it was the proto they showed at SDCC and Joecon.
artiepants:
Destro, how's the overall design look/feel to you? i see this being the new "Duke Torso" that's gonna be used for everyone and their mother. Sure looks like it'd be 100x better for Leatherneck and Falcon then what we're getting the first 'go-round...

    here it is:
Gothiczartan:
it's a good thing that he has a removable helmet.

I hope to see airtight for comic pack or cartoon pack with a removable helmet and same for barbecue.
Tunnel Rat:
does anyone when the new dvd packs come out???
crazyfellow1:
    meh

    early to mid september...their coming!
xhairs:
man this paint sceam sucks as the rest have cartoon colors and he dosent not even his toys im SOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED IN THIS FIG NOW. They could at least gave us the one at the joe con his colors werent that bad at all 100x better then this. ill get him just to rip him apart and do my upgrade my dusty.
Xerofall:
So what color was his cloth on the helmet?
RockinHard:
God, I bet we eventually get a corrected carded version of Dusty like the one at JoeCon, as well as Falcon (although he doesn't bother me that much), as well as a classic Serpentor, as well as a red-sigil Cobra trooper (here's hoping it's like the first one from the Cobra five-pack with a fixed crotch). Anyone know if the earlier wave figures that are being rereleased will have fixed crotches (Duke, Flint, Scarlett, Gung-Ho)?
kennywr22:
I can't even begin to say how let down i am at this Dusty. I mean i know it's just a paint scheme but the one at Joe con was awesome. This one just looks off. Damn it Dusty was my all time fav as a kid. I hope we get a redo of him. Damn!!!
Monkeywrench:
I like the figure. I wish they would have kept the colors original. I'm really glad they choose this head as the face paint is much better.
samjjones:
I also much preferred the JoeCon version.
Monkeywrench:
    are the goggles removable?
barbecue:
Looks cool but why the change of the chocolate chip camo spots to tiger stripes? Sometimes Hasbro make some decisions that left me wonder.

yes please tell us Destro or show a pic of the ripped cloth please
Wylde Weezle:
Hmm. I'm gonna have to re-paint those boots tan when I get mine. I'll probably do a tan/brown paint job on the rifle, too. I'm sure I've never seen a real Soldier wear dark boots with the desert camouflage uniform. Dark colors draw in heat, and if you're hanging out in the desert that's just stupid.
Hasbro did good making a more realistic desert camo pattern for his uniform though it looks odd as I'm used to the aforementioned "chocolate chip" uniform on Dusty.
VIPER 48:
I like it. I can't wait to get that pack...

Crushed red velvet. I admit it was a risk... but I think it'll work.

It is a somewhat odd choice to go with the non cartoon accurate scheme... but at least it's a Dusty figure. Doubt we see a single carded version before the movie hits though.
darthdoug:
Dusty was my all-time favorite Joe. I'm glad to have one. I wish the Convention version were it. It's an identical figure. But that paint scheme on the Camo makes the world of difference.

We'll probably get 4 different versions of him at some point. Tiger force?
Soar:
    Deleted.
Dawg99:
dusty looks good can't wait for this pack
Zefram:
Meh, he's okay. Don't know if I'd go outa my way for him, but since he's coming in the DVD pack, it ain't a bad deal.

Destro said that the cloth came with the figure, it was torn so he didn't take photos with it.

    Thanks.

My bad. I should have read Destro's post before look at those pix.
Steel Brigade:
Dusty is one of my "all time favorite Joes" growing up, 2nd one I bought, so I am really looking forward to getting him!!
Batmandk02:
Hasbro is taking my money again. WILL THEY EVER STOP!!??? They are almost as bad as George Lucas, but I am not doggin' them because I like my Joes. Go Dusty!!
Snow Job:
It's alright, I guess. I'll pick him up if i can afford it.
topnotch97:
Hasbro better not ruin everything.... they better let us know if Dusty will come out as dvd pack or single card.
SNAKE EYES:
I hope we get the one from Joecon and SDCC on a single card it looks more like the original and it resembles the camo from desert storm more than this tiger stripe desert camo we're getting.

I have never seen tiger stripe camo in a desert pattern before. The new desert digital camo the military wears is kind of cool though, I wouldn't mind seeing that either, but the desert tiger stripe sucks.
General Stormin' Norman in the comparison pic below.
Pimp Daddy Darklon:
Torn? Does that mean it's fragile?
manic mailman:
I liked the original dusty but he wasnt my favorite character. i'm glad to have versions of him coming out, but what makes him so many peoples favorite character? i dont remember him doing anything particular awesome anywhere or is it just his look?
silverz3:
For me it was the look and the softgoods headgear. He felt truly unique back in the day. He was one of my favorites, and I remember him well.

That's why it's so disappointing that they opted for the odd tiger stripe deco instead of the preferable spotted camo. This figure went from perfect to a bummer.
Fierce Krypton:
dusty is one of my favorite joe toys..... this is just...... bad.......

I think I expect way more than everyone else does though, I hope everyone else enjoys him.
Shogi:
I'm not feeling the camo pattern, but I do like the fact that he still has the "skirt" but it's short enough it doesn't look like it'll hinder his leg movement like Snow Job's does
Saboteur:
He was the only reason I was going to buy that DVD pack. I guess I won't be buying it now.
    Hasbro what we're you thinking??
    Sab
Agent-GHQ:
The tone of the color appears slightly different than the ones shown at the Joe Con and SDCC. This is as close as we get.
Crimson Rage:
Works for me. I like him!
Tazocin:

Yeah and Falcon also needs the "skirt". I hope the single carded Falcon will have the "skirt" just like Dusty
Godzilla:
I dunno about this new camo. I like the old camo pattern. I am dissappointed with the lack of details as well like Dusty's last name "Tadur" on his right chest like Gen. Hawk's jacket. What is up with all this? Leatherneck in Mission Brazil colors and now this? Hasbro, what are you thinking??????

They were probably thinking "we'll get you guys to buy the DVD pack pretty much just for this Dusty, and then we'll get you later on when we produce another Dusty with the other camo pattern and a skirt."
