Commando, Ninja...Silent Master. The enigma who came to be known as Snake-Eyes is one of the G.I. Joe Team's most valuable and deadly weapons. Without uttering a sound, while utilizing his extensive military background and training at the hands of the Arashikage Clan, the Silent Master has served Cobra many setbacks in their endeavor of worldwide terror. Before Snake-Eyes was recruited by the G.I. JOE team, he lived in isolation in a cabin located in the High Sierras, refining his skills while seeking solace from the tragedies in his past and the world which molded him. During this period of solitude he was befriended by a wild wolf that came to be known as Timber. Though never truly tamed in the conventional sense, Timber developed a sense of protectiveness toward his companion, as Snake-Eyes did toward him. When Snake-Eyes joined the JOE team in its global pursuit of the terrorist organization Cobra, Timber remained close at hand and served just as critical a role in vital missions as his companion. The two companions are a constant thorn in the plans of Cobra and through swift and deadly measures they continue to stand in Cobra's deadly path.

Sideshow Collectibles Annouces Snake Eyes & Timber 12-Inch Figure Set
ultra8294:
Yep, looks fantastic!!
Going to stock up on Ol' Snakes Eyes
Ford:
I dunno. I always saw that mask as being cloth. When it's leathery like that it makes it look sort of...gimpish.
tuan_tran73:
Buy for me.

LOL - Bring out the gimp!!

All kidding aside, I will pick this one up for sure. This one might make up for that horrid Crimson Guard!
CLASSIFIED117:
How can you call that gimpish, that is amazing!!!
RolandofGilead:
Looks like I'm still in with Sideshow Joe. Nice looking figure, and it's great to be able to get a Timber without that 1:6 environment set.
spazzy:
easy buy!
CLASSIFIED117:
Wait, never mind I know what you did.
malcontentman:
I have the OG SideShow Snake Eyes, but Snake Eyes 2.0 looks like he will blow the Original out of the water!!! This is a must buy for me.
slim19722:
This is what I've been waiting to use my rewards points on, can't wait till next Thursday!
Sgt Adrian:
buy for me too!!!
darth viper:
Mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine
GIJOHN:
Aaaaaawwwwesome!!!
ironknife:
Hell yeah!!
teemu8:
To Sweeten the deal...I hear Timber is posable
malcontentman:
I want this Snake Eyes so bad. The March 13th Production Blog images can't come soon enough. Now for the second GIJOE ver. 2.0 release from SideShow, I want to see Cobra Comander with helmet and chrome visor.
Gundamben831:
I like it I just hope the exclusive version comes with the Metal visor instead of the commando head. not some gimmick hand with a dagger made in it.
The Commander:
Finally I can breathe a sigh of relief and not pay inflated secondary prices for the first version. Bring this bad boy on!
Davestro:
Finally...my chance at a Snake-Eyes and in my favorite version...Commando.

I'm digging the weapons so far...sword, rifle, pistol. He better come with an uzi and explosives bag as well.

Nice use of the Beachhead and Stalker sweater...wish it had the pattern more like the statue, but it should look good with the webgear.

Want to see the boots and pants he will have.

Timber was a nice touch, but I hope he doesn't price in the $160-175 range...we shall see.
Veedubguy83:
I can't wait, this is great for us who missed SE the first go around!
EduardimusPrime:
this will be my first sideshow purchase.

Be careful... It is addicting, and expensive... But TOTALLY worth it!
Nightrain:
Man I was settled with the idea of never having Snake-Eyes since the older one was too expensive on ebay. I'm reserving this asap.
07GT500 COBRA:
Glad I've resisted the urge and kept my first SE MIB. This set willl be mine.
UMAN:
Will have!
hahoo3:
Figures...The PF SE/Timber is awesome, but I'll be getting this as well since I'm a huge SE fan! Looks good so far, but the mask material is kinda weird looking, so hopefully it's changed.

I'm already thinking about buying more. Hahaha!
steve2477:
Cool, i missed out on the first SE release, far too expensive for me now, so i was hoping a different look SE would be released. So this is great news to me.
Shipwreck:
Def. On Board for this one.

you and I both.. so Yeah i`ll be goin` after this one.
Cobra Fox:
Looks great. I'm no doctor, lawyer, nor engineer, all sideshow dolls are not my cup of tea. It's pure madness to be paying close to $200.00 for one or $600.00 for the same scale Batmobile. I got responsibilities, bills to pay, mouth to feed, and mortgage to stay on. Even if I won a lottery like that ole lady from Rhode Island, I still passed on these sideshows. $200.00 per doll is just crazy. Hungry poor kids deserve those money so I'd donate for good cause.
Jacklefttown:
Well, all I ever wanted in a 12" figure was Commando Snake-Eyes! He is probably my favorite figure of all time (in 3.75" form), so I will be grabbing him up WITHOUT a doubt!

I just hope his mask has the proper amount of breath holes and in the right spots!

Honestly, for what you get, and the quality of what you get is amazing, not to mention the amazing customer service Sideshow provides, and the fact they listen to the fan base is even a bigger plus. And the fact they offer payment plans is another big plus. Really puts Hasbro to shame IMO... I wish Sideshow made the 3 3/4 figs, I could only imagine what we would be getting.

couldn`t agree with you more. I passed on the SE the first time around due to the price of being 120.00.. Now they do have payment plans for these figures.. My mother actually picked up Hawk for me.. I already had Flint when I bought him for the 120. last year at Joecon.. I gotta tell ya.. My only regret is not having the Exclusive with the sawed off. But Flint is my only Sideshow Joe. I've also got Duncan MacLeod a few years ago.. Mac sold me on the sideshow stuff.. But.. I didn`t have pockets .. I still don't.. I had the chance to buy SE on ebay this week for around 175. but the guy wanted to continue the auction.. I lost SE at over 200. Now My mom is a member with Sideshow from the past(Duncan.) (Hawk) she told me bout the new Snakey.. Then I found this thread. I'm in for the SE this time. I like the commando version, even though I like the visor.. The goggles is still more like what I use in the Airsoft field. So yeah.. My list is Storm Shadow and SE hands down.

The detail these figures have is just mind-blowing. mind you when You consider getting one.. These are NOT toys.. they are static display models. As for a 1:6 scale 89 batmobile.. I have built several 1:24th scale versions of the car.. I'm sure their model will rival my smaller scaled cars. Wouldn't mind having one but for 500... that`s bout where I`ll go looking for a new Airsoft gun.. at least THAT i can use.

Don`t discount the figures due to price.. you can always find a buyer if you`re not pleased.
CrimsonGuard101:
This is why I passed the first one! This one is going to be friggen EPIC!
1SGHauser:
FINALLY! I didn't buy the fist Snake Eyes release because he looked to skinny with a big head. The gear was cool, but the head and visor were just too.... I didn't like it.

This however looks absolutely awesome. AND we get a Timber to boot!

OMG!! That would be badass!!! Imagine the accessories for the figures and the vehicles' rubber tires and working lights and so on. The figures would prolly go for 20 apiece. Those 12" dolls just takes up alot of spaces.

I'd be willing to pay them $35 a figure if they did 3 3/4 figueres and vehicles, I would do $70-$100 per vehicle, espcailly if al it has was LED lights and controls panels lol...

this.

I always imagined it as a helmet/mask type deal. that's terrible.
Firefly Cobra:
Looks cool.
oliverbox:
Awesome. I'm very excited about this. It looks like a great figure. Although, considering that we already got a Snake-Eyes (he was the first figure), I would have preferred a new character - someone with really interesting equipment - like Torpedo, or Spirit, or Snowjob.

I'll still be buying this Snake-Eyes. These figures are expensive, so I only buy the Joes.
MightyMegs:
Yeah... commando style baybeeee!
Kitchen Viper:
ince I missed out on their first SE, I might try to get this. I've been having fun making my own 1:6 ARAH characters, though.
Enzo:
I have to say...I recently got the Sideshow Snake Eyes and Timber statue and WOW!!!! This thing is friggin awesome. It is truly a masterpiece and worth every cent. If anyone is deliberating getting it, I highly recommend it.
ozzie92:
Ummm...Timber served just as vital a role as Snake Eyes? C'mon, marketing department. Clearly SE played the role of underling.
Gundamben831:
i really can't wait to get this one being I was late to the sideshow collecting game but now that I've seen the awesomeness I will be for sure pre-ordering this one for sure. My only question though is that what will the exclusive version be? will it include the metal visor head as the exclusive add on or will be an unmasked face?? I am really hoping they do a metal visor extra head personally, I would much prefer an additional head over getting a dagger hand any day.
HardMaster:
Now I almost wish I didn't get the first one because this one looks awesome! Oh well!
the odinson:
this may be the one that breaks my sideshow cherry. i was barely able to resist the viper.
malcontentman:
I totally couldn't resist the vipers ...and this Snake Eyes is just a dream. Beachhead, Firefly, and Commando Snake Eyes are now my three favorites.
