360 has better games and better online game play. The PS3 is good if you want blu-ray movies.

That being said: 360 has slightly better graphics than PS3 PS3 still has outstanding graphics 360 has no Blu-Ray Player (Sad) PS3 has Blu-Ray Player (NICE) 360 has a "bigger" online play community and cost money PS3 has "Nice" online play and it's FREE 360 has more quality can't miss "exclusive" games PS3 still has some great can't miss "exclusive" games I bought both, because they both are great in their own way. If I had to choose one, I would go with PS3 for the following reasons: PS3 can't miss "exclusive" games are among the best ever (Metal Gear, Motorstorm, among others) PS3 has freaking Blu-Ray player, nuff said PS3 controller is easier for me to use (PERSONAL CHOICE) PS3 has less quality control issues. PS3 online play is free. 360 "exclusive titles" and slightly better graphics isn't enough.

I'm on my third 360. but Microsoft has made it easy and fast to get the replacements. they include a 3yr warranty with each replacement. that being said I still love the 360 and would get another one because they have the games I like.

ps3's game output was terrible in 08 although they claim this year will be better. 360 is better you are good to go. If it craps out in the first year you can send it back to microsoft after that it will cost you 100 bucks. A lot of them get red rings from overheating... I keep mine sitting upright with a fan pointed at it and it has never gotten a red ring of death. I have had it since it first came out. 360 has Halo, Splinter Cell, GTA, and cod4/5. ps3 has metal gear, final fantasy, and that lil doll game... you choose.

I'm on my first 360 no problems. My PS3 is in the shop for the 5th time. I know that sounds odd, imagine how I feel. Every time they send me a refurbished console. Every time it has a new problem. My warranty runs out in March so I hope this time is the last. My PS3 when working is only a BLU-RAY player for me with the occasional quality game to play (by this I mean MGS4, Little big planet those are few and way too far in between IMO). Xbox is the choice for me hands down. If I knew I'd have this many problems with my PS3 I would have saved my money.................

Cannot speak from experience. I have a 360. I like it. I have no need for a ps3 of it's dvd player as I do not have a hi-def tv or sat. And, honestly, I play little on it. But I like it. Got the warranty at WM when I got it, so I should be able to swap it out in store if needed. Satisfied thus far, I think the red-ring-o-death thing was fixed before I got my console at Christmas.

I have both, I am an affirmative gamer, both have good games, MGS4 and Uncharted are two of my ps3 faves. Both Gears of Wars are awesome and Ninja Gaiden 2 rocks. About multiplatforms like Fallout 3 or Dead Space, depends which console offers more achievements and extras from their online stores to unload or obtainining by playing. Cheers.
