hey guys im pretty sure a few of your tankers have played both metal gear solid and metal gear online...but im question is for metal gear online...im trying to figure out how to switch up what my charatcer online wears and the colors for it but ive looked everywhere on the game screen...so if anyone here can help me out that would be great thanks guys

You mean while you're creating a character or afterwards?
Once the character is created and saved you can't change his basic design or colour, but you can remove/add the various equipment you've given him. To do that you go to the "Personal Data" section. If you want to change the colours, you have to create a new character. For that you either have to buy an extra slot (you only get one free) or delete your existing one. Of course, if you do that you lose all your stats and play time.

its ok...there is a few issues with lag...but i believe its just my connection...other then that its pretty fun

Online play is kind of slow. it seems like minutes between matches which is a drag. Its fun, just takes a while, just like the single player part of it. Slow but awesome

Been playing online since I bought the system back at the end of June, and really like that mode. It is comparable to SOCOM in that the maps and objectives are supposed to be strategic, but mostly end up just being run & gun.
As for changing your appearance, you can buy (with reward points) new and different gear for your player character. They are adding items all the time, and there is some visually appealing stuff. Personally, I'm saving for a red shirt. |
