Will we ever see a joe game?

Yes,i know there was one of the NES,but it was very bad.My brother plays ALOT of war games and i can't help but say that would look good with a joe/cobra overlay.Just imgaine turning on a joe game...You start out on the flagg,you get your orders from Hawk and you jump into a tomahawk with SE or Roadblock.Then you are storming cobra island right beside them.

Too see a terrordrome in all is glory on the game,would be like the first time i seen/fought Tidelwave on TF armada.Anyone else got any thought?

I think it would be a good idea to have an updated game. They could make it Halo-esque, and run it with an Unreal engine. Maybe something will happen with the new movie coming out, although usually movie vid games suck.

i would love to see it as a scripted FPS, much like the Call of Duty series. then online would be multiplayer/free roam with dozens of maps (oh, imagine the possibilities for all the maps!!!)

there have actually been "skins" for games like battlefiled 1942. this pretty much just cover the graphical aspect, turning the characters into joes/cobras, and the vehicles, etc...
it was never really finished (i think they hit a legal snag with hasbro?), but i think if you try real hard you can download the unfinished version somewhere.

but i really think a new fully licensed game is way overdue, with the power of these current consoles, sky is the limit! you could even have different "skins' for the characters from the cartoons and comics! (similar to what they did for the transformers movie game, including the G1 bot skins)

I'm going to school for video game programming. So when I finally get done and hired, I will be pushing for a Joe game. My ideas on it would basically be Star Wars Battlefront, but with Joe vehicles instead.

A joe game is about 10 years overdue in my opinion! Since the first time I played a sony playstation I was like "this would so rock a g.i.joe game!"
I think the SW battlefront idea is pretty good but I would also love to see it as a 1st person shooter like medal of honor or even as something reminiscent of syphon filter. I can even imagine a RTS in the same mold as starcraft or command and conquer! Imagine being able to build terror dromes, the pitt, skystrikers, maulers, silver mirages, rattlers, stingers, cobra troopers and greenshirt armies?!

I would like a "Tactic Game" something like FF Tactics and of course an action adventure game also. They will prolly make a game based on the upcoming movie but it will prolly suck like the movie.

I think something along the lines of mercenarys(sp?) where you can destroy EVERYTHING and can get into any thing you can see.Hell, a rpg/shooter would be nice.You start out as a greenshirt and pick your MOS.I'm not a big fan of straight shooters,so add a little open-ended gameplay to it.

mercenaries with a joe twist yeah that would rock i'd play it and i can almost guarantee most others would as well awesome idear

Chances are good they'll release one for the movie. I don't know anything for sure, it just seems to be the pattern for comic book movies.
