Will we ever see a joe game?

Odds are the movie game will be some crap 3rd person adventure/shooter game that's as bad as the TF movie game was.
Although I'm hoping that EA decides to take advantage of the fact that they now have access to the Joe franchise license and will make other Joe games besides the movie one(s). An RTS game would be nice.

im in the minority and say make the game a turn based strategy RPG. G.I. Joe seems to be very story driven, and a line that has alot of characters. Maybe not in the sense of Final Fantasy Tactics, but more along the lines of Fire Emblem.

I'd love to see one but in my mind and in my heart GI Joe is still stuck in the 80's. It would be too modern for my taste unless it was set in the 80's and I'm sure there are not that many who feel like me about it. but if the game play is fun I'd play it.

Games based on movies are pretty much an industry joke. The companies are rushed to get the game out the door to coincide with the movie tie-in that they are almost never polished and suck something fierce. Check out IGN and see how many movie-based games ever made it higher than a "meh" score.

Personally, I'd like to see a squad-based (SOCOM) type game or an Ace Combat type with all the Joe and Cobra aircraft. But who wants to play a military game where no one can shoot straight.

I wouldn't mind an RTS style Gi Joe/Cobra game much along the lines of Command & Conquer that could work.

I'd love to see a RTS G.I.Joe game like C+C or one like SOCOM. I wouldn't get any work done though.

If its made like Command and Conquer I would go with that. But my thinking is it should be made like Call of Duty 4: Modern warfare. face it that game owns Socom any day.

I heard that EA picked up the licensing but I am reluctant to expect much. EA has always disapointed when it comes to movie games. NOW if it were a game of it's own accord then maybe it would have a chance but from the looks of it, this game will be another dissapointing "movie" game.

I am also going to school to be a Game programmer/designer so I can see many possiblities for this catagorie.
