Wave 1 ETA is fall. Really itching to see these. There was a very very limited run of bad ass MK figures years back, the line was essentially canceled but a few figures were released. This was years before Jazwares and years after Hasbro stopped making MK Joes. The figures could balance on one foot too.
Maybe these new MK 6" figures will surpass them. Who knows. ITCHING to see the 4" line. Hasbro mainly kitbashed the MK Joes, in lieu of using predominantly new parts, so the line always came off as compromised, made short of its full potential. Even worse for Street Fighter. I find it very intriguing that we may FINALLY see small scale Street Fighter AND Mortal Kombat figures, done right in 4" scale, BY the same company no less! Come on Jazwares, kick some ass with these figs!

Their Mega Man figures are dated. The new ones should be far different from what I understand.

I have high hopes for these figures just because MOST of what is out there today in small scale is generally good stuff. MK and SF have without doubt joined the ranks of our little fanbase/sub culture...so I'm assuming the figures will follow suit and be done right. The fact that it's the same company doing rival franchises is blowing my mind right now. I know I'll be doing the ol' compare and contrast for days! I don't think we've seen something like this since...Mego or very early on in ToyBiz with having both Marvel and DC. I hope we get solid figures that will be able to display well with our other favorites....and most importantly EACH OTHER!! Bring your best 4" Ninjas MK...AKUMA is NO JOKE! |

I'm with you 100% which is why I've been driving myself insane for just a peak at an image.

Have there been any pictures of these figures released yet? I'm dying to see what they look like. I hope they do more than one series and we see Shao Kahn and Kintaro and a new Goro figure aswell.

Here's hoping. The 6" figures are the one I want the most.
