Why would anyone open their barge Yakface?
If they don’t care about cards, they could sell him for $$$ and just pick up the regular single carded release, while pocketing a ton of money. On the other hand, if they value cards, then likely they will keep the packed-in one as minty as possible. Not that it matters, really, I am just confused. |

Instead of going nuts looking for these Storm Troopers I’ll hopefully be able to buy cases from BBTS and just sell off the other figures.

It would be a great opportunity to do solid case packs in the small scale! Would be a disaster if they made that a general rule, but I think if they did it occasionally and with discretion it would go over really well, and this guy is a perfect example. But yeah, realistically, I am just crossing my fingers there will be several per case.

I have to really think about how I'm approaching collecting in two scales. Right now I'm leaning toward my 3.75" SA collection being based around the vehicles and playsets I own. So, since I bought an Imperial Assault Tank, I need those Tank Drivers and Stormtroopers to complete it. Since I bought the Sail Barge, I need Gamorreans, Weequeays, Kleatus, Baradas, and Niktos.
So, I don't need a Death Star Gunner with no Death Star.... unless they do one via HasLab. Damn. I thought I had a plan for a second. In any case, I need Stormtroopers. That much I know. |

Does everybody know about the eBay seller The Cardboard Galaxy? He’s working on a pretty neat Death Star set himself. Can’t seem to load page 2 of the store to check, but I don’t think it’s out yet.

I watched the panel discussion today and everybody seemed to kind of groan when a fan asked about a Death Star playset. Although it’s obviously something they’ve heard a bunch before, and it was the second time they’d been asked, because a kid had asked for the full thing earlier : )
So, who knows. But at least there is a guaranteed option out there. |

6" Black Series and imports. My dilemma is when something like the Range Trooper comes along. Do I buy it in 6"? 3.75"? Both? I haven't seen the movie or anything; I just think he's cool, so that's leading me to wanting him for the smaller scale, where I tend to throw out the rules of canon and do things like treat a troop builder like a stand-alone character, making up a name and backstory, and just have him in the background somewhere, hanging out. Whereas with 6", I would only think of a Range Trooper as a Range Trooper.
