Target had that card stock playset from star wars marked down to 14.99 so I got it. Actually got it for 12 because they have a coupon for 25% off as well that you have to text to get. Did anyone bite the bullet on the play set or the one walmart has? How does it look? I took it out to look at it but have not sat down and put it together yet. I mainly wanted to try it and see how it does with both Star Wars and Joe figures. Im worried though about if it can be torn down as quickly as you put it up for storage purposes without destroying it.

Great story, thanks for sharing. Glad you were able to have a good in store experience, those are rare now a-days. You didn't like Solo movie? Milk in Tea???
Let me counter that wonderful story with how a recent Amazon purchase went. I recently purchased 3 bottles of shampoo for my wife, and the new Sith Trooper. It all shows up on the same day, one medium sized box and one thin box. So logic would assume that 3 bottles are in the medium box, and the figure in the thin box, right? Wrong!! Two bottles with no padding and my figure were in the medium box, with my card bent all to hell. In the thin box, the third shampoo bottle was smashed into it by itself, and the shampoo was leaking out, because of course it was. Normally I'd put in a complaint on this type of nonsense, but I've already had Amazon complaints and refunds in the recent past. I've heard that Amazon will put you on a secret blacklist if you have too many refunds in a certain period of time, so this one I will let slide. Picking my battles I suppose. Geesh.... Also, why the hell does the new Sith Trooper (not to be confused with the Sith Jet Trooper) have a random ass bump on his shoulder? I assumed it was a factory error and started trying to smooth mine out. Then I checked JediBusiness, and all the Sith Troopers have this random bump/point? Why? As for the tea, English and Irish culture dictates milk is acceptable for traditional black tea and ok for Earl Grey. Anything else no milk, ever. Irish is a heavy dairy culture. When most of America reaches for an aspirin, or an over the counter cold remedy or sports cream we reach for the kettle or a pint glass. A cup of Lipton steeped 4 min with 1 sugar and a shot of milk gets me through the NY winters. Some times a Hot Toddy

Ouch, sorry to hear about your figure. I guess I’ve been lucky but I tend to order figures by themselves when it comes to Amazon. Not for any specific reason, just my purchasing habit. I’m glad you enjoyed my diatribe.

I like the free shipping and I'm generally not a moc collector, so I'll get stuff from there occasionally. It's still disappointing when it shows up looking like they stomped on it. I also bought the vandor card board set from Target yesterday for $15. I'm glad I waited for the price to drop on it. The Chewbacca from that set could have been a little better. I'm thinking of doing a combined star wars & gi Joe Arctic display, using both this cardboard set and the ice wall from that game of thrones set I purchased earlier in the year. Going to use fake snow and white lights. I'll post pictures whenever I have time to actually work on it. |

I'm a big tea drinker, but down here in the South it's all iced tea. I can probably count on one hand the amount of times per year I actually drink hot tea.

I guess hot tea would be a bad choice down by you (I still recommend the Hot Toddy though-with cloves.) Yeah, agreed, milk in iced tea is unthinkable. I do pound iced tea as my major source of fluids too, in fact hot or cold tea is pretty much all I drink save a glass of juice or hot chocolate once in a while. We don't drink at home unless we are entertaining. Spirits are for socializing at pubs, family get together,or sacraments. With Hasbropulse offering free shipping they have been all I shop at save exclusives. They ship considerably better than HTS did. I hit up BBTS for non Hasbro product, or anything imported like Masterpiece Transformers.

So what figures do we want to see from The Mandalorian? I’d love the get one of the Beskar smith. Love it. Her outfit felt like the orc costumes from the LOTR cartoon. She felt very early 80s Sci Fi/fantasy. I love that the show captures some of the late 70s early 80s vibe. The aliens felt nice and weird like they did in 77. Got to wonder if Disney Store cranked out that Jawa Sandcrawler knowing what was coming from the series. Glad I grabbed one when I did. Prices may soar on the secondary market.

I know man, mine was too (a dig at America's horrible beverage choices), but just to clarify, tea isn't just leaf-flavored water. Tea infuses water with all sorts of good-for-you shit besides just the flavor. It's actually a sort of wonder thing.

I add flavor to tea to make it more fun as I try to ditch soda and carbonation. Yes has a lot of health qualities, and different teas have varying health qualities.
I like to drink tea and admire 3.75 inch Star Wars figures. I picked up a VC Shadow Trooper yesterday at a local comic con while I was sharing a booth with a friend. In hand it’s fabulous. I did get a good look at the ceremonial Leia too and it does look nice.
