So, apparently, Hasbro is coming out with two separate Vintage collection X-wings, released nearly at the same time. (Seems like a mistake to release both of them so close to one another).
One will be Poe's and one will be Luke's. The box art for the Poe one has been leaked and it will be coming out first (I believe). It's orange and an all new mold I believe. Both X-wings will have a starting price point of $100. Unfortunately, it looks like the Poe X-wing will not include any figures or extras. What do y'all think? I feel like $100 for an x-wing with no figures or lights and sounds is too much. On one hand, it kind of feels like make or break time for the vintage collection, and if we don't support this line, it will go away. On the other hand, I bought the skiff, and jabba's palace, and several TVC figures this year, so I feel I've done my part and will probably wait until this goes on sale. I’m not a collector of the new trilogy stuffs so I’ll save money on Poe’s. Cheers to those who want this. I have the previous TRU TVC XWing, though technically that’s Biggs’. If this one will have specific Red 5 markings on it I’m happy to grab it for 100. No problem. Not sure how it will look scale wise next to the previous release but hopefully the new sculpt will be close enough in size. I’m no scale Nazi anyway. I wonder if they are testing the water for beloved classic vehicles at this price point since the Tank ended up getting priced down at clearance and they got the Skiff down to 40 bucks. I’d be curious what else they have up their sleeves of the X wing sells well. How many will drop 100 when most collectors already have the previous X wing from just a few years back? And finally I’d love to see the sales on Poe’s vs Luke’s.

The lack of figure doesn’t make or break me, some hard core collectors may want to build up a complete red squadron for their existing figures.

That Disney Sandcrawler looked like junk to me. Way out of scale, lacking details, and crudely painted. At least the tank was up to standards. I'd rather pay more for something worth having than spend any amount of money on undercooked toys. That's just my personal sensibility -- not trying to tell anyone they're wrong for liking the Sandcrawler. If you're happy with the value, you win.
X-Wings and TIEs take up too much space and are too hard to store without something getting warped or cracked. I've been waiting for them to rerelease the 2010 Snowspeeder. I've been keeping a Dack Reiter in my collection just for that eventuality. |

Or two Jabba's palace sets (IF you could find one). I wonder if this will end up being hard to find like the Jabba sets, or clearanced everywhere like the Tie Fighter. |

Love the Sand Crawler. It's large, maybe not as large as it *should* be, but certainly larger than the X-wing which is priced the same. The Sandcrawler has a ton of light up and sound features, and while the inside is lacking details, the outside, I feel, looks fantastic. Plus the Sandcrawler came with two figures while this comes with none.

I’m definitely getting Luke’s X-Wing. Poe’s is not a must have for me and it just might depend on how desperate I am to buy something when I do find it. I have not bought an action figure at retail in months so I’m ready.
I’m mostly an Original Trilogy guy but I will cherry pick a few of the new Trilogy Items. Mainly older versions of the OT characters though.

Have there been any leaked or teased images of these X wings?
