TVC Tie arrived from Overseas. It hurts to uphold one’s morals. I am not a customer of the retail chain where this is sold so had to pony up to get it elsewhere.

Both the tank and the tie fighter look super good. I will most definitely get the tie.

Imperial Assault Wagon. This also goes back to my point about the legs of "super-articulated" Star Wars figures -- you can't find any that would sit that well. By the way, the male MTF's are too tall for the driver seats (prevents you from putting the top back on), but the females work.
A lot of the older figures with the older style legs, nope. |

I have both but am keeping them sealed for now. Thanks to Smokepants for all the awesome pics and review. I feel vindicated in my purchase. I was happy to read that the Tie is the same as the earlier TVC Tie. I was afraid they might have altered it to make the vehicle more cost effective. Luckily this resurgence in TVC seems to be geared towards adult collectors with adult wallets. I’m not this stereotypical “cheap Joe collector.” I have no problem dropping $80 on a 1/18 Star Wars vehicle and paying for quality. Hope to see more like this from the line. Slowly please, though, so I can keep up with it all.

My Tank = Amazon
CrossCountry's TIE = probably Robot Kingdom or some other overseas site that sells US exclusives I don't think I've actually bought a toy in-person since the early 2000's. |

Cali, Hasbrotoyshop has the Tank available now. It sold out on preorders at BBTS. My TVC Tie is from Robot kingdom but the smaller ForceLink Tie is up on Hasbrotoyshop as well. I read that TVC Tie will be available in the states early fall. Probably September.

Thx. Got worried I missed something.
Back to death star. It wouldnt be bad to just make it a partial like the 70s one BUT. Make it like 1/8th of the death star so if you buy 8 it all connects into a ball. Not sure how to make the gun part but. Making it so you can have a piece of death star thats affordable and for those that can complete it wouldnt be bad.

Swappable/customizable outer shell panels. The Kenner one had carboard inserts. New one could have plastic outer walls or snap on pieces, giving you the option of standard or part of the super laser dish.
