I was in Wal-mart and notice some 2-packs and 3-packs with "New Recruits" across the top. The new figures are a little taller with a narrower stance. They still have the t-crotch, but the arms appear to have an ME-style construction.
This site has pics: Chap Mei Toys - 5 new Corps! figures at Walmart! I tried to take pics but my shutter speed is slow.

I welcome the new heads... especially on the blue ninja squad guy. Goatee and a ponytail? Can you say samurai head?

I like the ninja guy with the mask & hat from the Shinobi Squad. Saw these awhile ago and I like the new head sculpts.

I kinda like the wrist blades on that one figure.
You know if the Corps was slightly more part compatable with Joe I MIGHT be buying them. But as is their the main cause Joe (well actually Walmarts undying support of the Corps over Joe) is in the constant re-invent itself pickle. I know RoC sat at retail, but you know what its not so much that it didn't sell, in fact in my area I think it sold pretty well. I think it was seriously over ordered...so much of the first waves clogged shelves. But Walmart has been trying to kill Joe for years now, and all these constant shifts in reinventing itself has been the direct result of Walmarts death hunt of Joe. |

Chap-Mei, the Tom Carvel of toys.
The sigma 6ish look in packaging is interesting, I've never picked up any of their figs so I have no idea what they are really like but if it helps draw more attention into the 3 3/4 military line then cool!

They have the same vehicles in different colors. I'm still waiting for the Sky Raptor from their website. I haven't seen that one anywhere.
