What do you guys think of this stuff. Personally I felt Mattel missed the Boat. They could have drawn from the well on this line and mimmicked M.A.S.K. in execution. This is a line based on the vehicles and the whizz-bang, neat-o gadgets inherrent in them. The best prototype from the M.A.S.K. line would have to be the Raven. The ingenuity of the three launchable saw blades and the cocking mechanism for them was genius. All of that and the entire assembly rotated on a spring loaded axis! And the vehicle looked cool!! The Speed Racer line looks way too Kiddie for me despite the few cool items like the single wheeled cycle you get with the Racer-X figure.

Personally I've never been a big fan of Speed Racer or anything but the toys look pretty cool. I kinda wish the cars were a bit bigger so I could put Joes into them |

Which ones? I've seen multiple different sizes. One that was just a bit too small packaged with a figure and then ones that look like Mego figures would fit in them

I think the figures are three inch scaled. Which is why I was reminded of M.A.S.K. I remember wanting a Condor for my Joes, back in the day, only to find out there is a scale difference.

I think they came out with too many different scales for this property. They really are great for kids but a little too pricey.
