No, in fact many german soldiers during WWII were not Nazis. Nazis are germans in Hitler's (political) worker's party.

Saying all Germans were Nazis is analagous to saying all Americans are Republicans. Nazi is a short word for National Socialist Worker's Party; it was a political party that controlled Germany from the early 30's until '45.

Granted, in the movies they're generally referred to as Nazis, not Wehrmacht. But as was mentioned, some major chains won't carry things that say Nazi; and for overseas sales, it's illegal to sell things in many countries (France and Germany at least) with Nazi or SS symbols on them.

as said by others not all Germans were Nazis. in fact actual party membership never really rose above something like 34% (could be wrong on number). historically though the Germans Jones would have been fighting were Nazis. hitler only placed loyal Nazis in the units and organizations sent to "recover" and research religious artifacts. as for being illegal, there are laws that prevent denial of the use of the Swastika but its not illegal if used in a historical context. for example going around flying a Nazi flag is illegal but having a Swastika on the side of a Tiger tank for unit markings isn't. the laws have more to do with context then anything else. now most stores won't sell said items out of taste. hopefully that made sense.
