Greasy Childhood toys- Help!

So I'm finally unpacking stuff that I played with as a kid, and I'm finding that some of the plastics / rubbers feel greasy...

12 inch WWF Wrestlers and mainly concerned with my Mail-Away Sgt. Slaughter.

Ghostbusters figures

Does anyone have any tips on cleaning these toys and keeping them in good shape so that plastic doesn't get worse?

Help!

the best stuff I found is projection T.V. cleaner. It is made to not degrade or scratch plastic. Also, I use guitar polish to help protect and even out the finish on my plastics. They say it is safe for plastic pic guards... so that means safe for plastic toys too
