Star Wars 2008 Star Wars Toys, Action Figures, and Collectibles at BigBadToyStore
Star Wars Ultimate Quarter Scale from Diamond Select Toys. Any feedback I can get on these figures is appreciated. Thanks! |

Anyone?
I think these are fairly new. Just wondering if anyone has bought or seen one and could give me their opinion. Obviously larger than the 12" Sideshow figs, but wonder about the quality, etc. I was thinking it'd be cool to pick a couple of these up like Vader, Obi-Wan, Han, and Luke, but I have no idea how good they look. Again, any help is appreciated. Thanks! |

I have the Maul and Han Hoth that I scored on a TRU price mistake. These figure are no where as posable as a 12" sideshow figure but they do look FANTASTIC when taken out of the box and displayed. The figures, outfits and acces are spot on. They display great in a regular "standing" position but if you try to get them in a pose anything other than that it doesnt look right due to the limited articulation, case in point, just look at the Maul and the BBTS page, that crouching position is goofy as hell and its due to limited articulation in the legs and ankles.
As said in the beginning I scored both for right under $40 due to a TRU employee marking them at a clearance price of 34.99 when only maul should have been on clearance and that was at $59.99.. got both honored at the 34.99 price and had $30 in GC so I cant complain much about them. |

i have seen them for 25 bucks each but i passed. i have sideshow maul 12" so i dont need a larger scale. i heard that some of them could have loose joints and you need the stand to hold them. i think rebelscum did a review on the front page, you search the news section for the review.

Thanks guys, I'll check out the Rebelscum review. I've been seeing these figs on sale for pretty good prices, so it made me think they might be junk.

I love the Darth Maul. Great head sculpt and the voice chip is cool. The only drawback is the hand selection.
He's all I have...may look at the Vader when he's released. If you are patient, these will drop in price like Maul did. |

remember seeing maul at tru for 25-30 bucks during christmas but they raised the price back up to 40 after the holidays. also saw him at some online stores for 30, think amazon had him for that price.
