The Iron Man Classic didn't look half as good as my MU version, I didn't need the Iron Man Stealth, and I was going to pick up the Mark 3 Armor figure, but his paint apps looked like I painted him.

Weird but it actually happened.
The XMO figures look cheap compared to Marvel Universe. Not so much the sculpts, no the sculpts are generally good, but the paint apps and plastic used. They feel more rubbery. I know Wolverine is supposed to be smaller, but I get the feeling the figures are a bit more smaller scale than Marvel Universe(this is also taking into account MU Wolverine being too tall). |

Do these look and feel the same? How do they compare to Marvel Universe figures? | MU uses the cheaper, softer plastic. XOW used a much stronger batch. War Machine alone is a pretty solid figure in line with XOW Sabertooth and MU Red Hulk. The shoulder pads lift up to adjust the arm to a new position and then you lower them to rest of the arm so it really keeps the comic book look pretty solid.
Classic Mark I is good. The Movie Mark I feels just a tad... too small. I've managed to pick up everyone except Iron Monger and the Movie style Mark III so far. Quote:

anyone got the Cycle Armor? an iron man motorcycle with a "No-Articulation" figure (but removable). the bike is good. $9.99 of course. | I thought it was pretty funny giving a man who can usually fly a quad and a motorcycle, but the upcoming Formula 1 racer could be awesome. Quote:

I found a Wave 3 set at WM a few days later and took back the TRU ones. I never pass up something which may be a little difficult to find in the near future because of all the scalpers in town. Had to go the eBay route for War Machine and Silver Centurion from the 6" movie line because I didn't bother to grab one the first (and only) time I saw them in a store.
A buddy let me rummage through his old machines and I managed to find a 300 Watt power supply. Nice to have a working machine again. |

War Machine has tight joints all around and has some weight wich is real nice.
They look better than any MU Iron Man released so far IMO and they can stand up with no problem. |
