Heyas All,
I was looking at some of the Lanard CORPS vehicles and I noticed that a couple of them seemed to be very similar to some of the Gi Joe ones from a while ago. In particular their APC looks to be a re-working of the Gi Joe one. I know that since they're both based on real world machines, there's going to be a bit of a similarity, but the shape, scale looks dead on to me. Anyone got one or both of them in hand to let me know? Thanks for your help, Colin |

If you go into
http://corpscollector.com/corps/Default.htm its in the vehicles section. The more I look at it, the more it looks like an Gi Joe APC with a new rear and some tacky weapons added. Just my 2 cents. Colin |

The cab definately resembles the Joe APC.
I haven't seen these at retail...would be cool to customize.

i have a similar one i found at the goodwill - it was white, and set up for some kind of space figures, but it is the same mold. i started working on mine a while ago to convert into a mobile hq, painted it and all, but wasn't satisfied with the paint used, and i haven't gotten back to it. but i will - i'm thinking of doing some other mods to it first...

I'd totally pick it up if I could find one. It seems lately that all they put out are their 3 big vehicles (4 door hummer/jeep thing, Assault Tank and Helicopter) Only the Tank is on that Corps site. Then there's the smaller vehicles (Jet, Boat, Helicopter) The small helicopter looks to be a retooled Fang as the larger one (That's on the site) looks like a Dragonfly (I saw this one at a thrift store the other day but it was missing the landing skids)

I could probably lay my hands on one of there, but before I splash out on it, I just want to know if its going to be in scale with the Gi Joe APC, so that I can swap some parts from one to another.

It'll probably be close. It doesn't look as long as the GI Joe one.
I know the Corps version of the Fang I have is close, but it's blades are smaller and a few other things have been retooled enough that you can't really switch much of anything out with the Cobra Fang |

Thats great, thanks for the replies.
Found a photo of the two together in the "Post a picture of your collection" thread. Not side by side, but enough to guess that they are roughly the same size, though I think that you're right and the Gi Joe one will be longer. Time to get the creadit card out. Colin |
