It's time to get jiggy with Jon Pertwee! As my final review for 2009, I'm taking a look at the two pack of Jon Pertwee as the Third Doctor and one of his old nemesis, the Sea Devil. It's chocked full of Doctor Who goodness and it's powerful enough to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow. Check it out!

Great review. I want the Dalek one for my collection. Of course I also want colored Hartnell and Troughton's as well. Hope the rumors of an 11 Doctor set are true.

I haven't heard the specifics on the box set 3rd Doctor, but that sounds about right. The green coat would make sense. Be nice if we could get a red coated version too.

"Despite the fact that Jon Pertwee is the last "old" looking
Quote:
Doctor, he was quite nimble and often threw down with monsters using Ju-Jitsu... Who-Jitsu? I'm actually not kidding when I say that. Petwee was a man of action, moreso than a lot of other Doctors, so he needs a fair amount of articulation."
EDIT: Just a nitpick. The Sonic Screwdriver came in with Troughton. I don't know when he got it (sadly since so many of his stories were lost), but he's seen using it in his final story, The War Games. Last edited by Zefram; 01-06-2010 at 04:28 PM.. |

It was in the story "Fury from the Deep" which like many of the 2nd Doctor's stories, has been lost.
