Yeah, my gf and I have the same argument/discussion. She LOVEs shoes and purses (what woman doesnt?). I told her the difference between my "plastic" and her "leather" is that mine goes up in value....hers dont...plus her stuff is stinky. Shes a lawyer...so my argument doesnt last long. |

Good stuff man, always good to see a woman be supportive...not like any of my girlfriends...
"Toys? You collect toys?" etc.... but those girls aren't worth it! Of course you've found a good woman there, and yeah "shared" dvd collection... Oh and I am going to get myself to IKEA, those displays are fantastic!

One of the happiest days of my collecting life was when my wife said she enjoyed going Wal-Mart hopping with me to find Joes.
She still doesn't understand buying 2 of everything, one to open, one to keep MOC, but I love her...

My g/f collects the cars from the movie Cars, so she kind of understands my hobby. But if I were to try to DISPLAY my collections, all of them, she'd kill me. I have enough toys (joes, transformers, marvel legends, and others) to take over the whole house. And I wouldn't blame her, either. I'm already taking over 2 rooms.

Yeah, I have a pretty random non-Joe collection. No real rhyme or reason to it. Hence Halo, War Machine, Omega Spawn, and Macross all one one shelf. and yay for random collecting! i have some odd stuff too. like a re-imagined 8 inch mazinger, mcfarlane robocop, halo, macross, etc... war machine and the punisher are the only ML's i own. so far... and ROFLMAO @ cat hitting the door! they prove thier worth occasionally... lol i have a couple goofballs of my own. the youngest loves to pick up showdown silver surfer and walk around the house with him. and i still cant find my marauder "ol painless"! terds...
