does anyone think a busted up millennium falcon is still a good representation of a ship that in the movies is always busted up?
"may not look like much on the outside, but it'll make .5 past lightspeed when helmed by a hopped up sugar high 5 year old chasing imaginary asteroids"...

We all have to keep in mind something, toys have become more high tech and more expensive. If the dad isn't, or was never a collector, he may not see the same value that we all see. Being that I collect, I would never buy my 4 y/o son that toy. I'm sure my son would mutilate the freaking thing. Hell, I used bury my toys in my mom's garden, when I was 6. LOL!

I only started collecting after I had my kid. It's totally fun with a kid.
