Or perhaps the lack of. There was a stuffed animal toy I remember classmates having that resembled a beast or a monster and it was chained or shackled but the chains were plastic and broke apart, giving the impression that the beast was strong enough to tear them apart. I remember them, or at least one, being orange, perhaps with more than one color on it. Maybe even having fangs or some kind of whoolly mammoth tusk like things around the mouth. They were pretty big, too. Maybe around 2-3 feet tall.
If anyone has any ideas as to what this is feel free to chime in, or point me in the right direction if theres some sort of source online that might have info. I've looked around and since I don't even know the company that made them or the name of these I'm at a standstill. |

That beast you refer to was "My Pet Monster". Even had a saturday morning cartoon, lol.
The Jist was that around "adults", the beast would appear to be a stuffed toy. Then, wacky hyjinx would ensue when his shackles were broken. Ah, the simpler days when pajamas had feet and saturday mornings ROCKED. |

Now, here's one for you: Anyone remember those goblin puppets, kinda rubbery, that you would wear on your hand? They'd leave your hand smelling like death 30 minutes later? |

while we are at it here was one of my favorite cartoons from a kid (apart from GI Joe of course)
Mighty Max featuring the voice of Rob Paulsen who you'red bound to recognise (he voiced Raphael in TMNT, Pinky from 'Pinky and the Brain' and if you're a Joe fan he is Snow Job and Tripwire in the cartoon!) and Tim Curry as the Skullmaster, this brings back alot of memories
