Yes, it's different than a lot of the older Trek, but it was well written, great action and yes THE SHIPS! I love the Klingon origins. That Klingon Cleave ship?!?!?! Holy moly. Picard on the other hand, it's been a slow burn for sure... the most recent episode was better than the older ones and I hope it gets better, but so far... Zzzzzzz. lol

I have to admit, I haven’t seen either show, but I am dying to do so.

I lucked out and got my friend's collection of these. He had everything up to issue 40 or 41, and I got all of the regular issue items and some of the special items.
Subscription isn't worth it for me. I have little interest in anything outside of the Starfleet ships, and I have zero interest in JJ Trek and Discovery. I've since, on my own, gotten the Norway and Steamrunner class with an eye toward getting the Saber class and--finally after a twenty-four-year wait--having 3D representations of all of the new ships from First Contact. After that, I'd like to get some of the Wolf 359 ships--especially New Orleans, Cheyenne, and Springfield classes. |

Picard is slow, but I've really enjoyed Discovery. I liked the first JJ Trek, I thought it was a good reboot.

I picked up one of the ships from eBay while waiting for my subscription, it as only $8 bucks and eventually I'll get it again as part of my sub, but I was eager to see what these looked like.
So far I love them, can't wait for my sub to start shipping.

I received two more ships, the TOS Enterprise and the TNG version. Love these, the details are amazing!

I still need to grab the D and E to complete my Enterprise collection. I wish the Discovery ships were in the smaller scale. I want to get all the key ships from Discovery (Discovery, the badass and beautiful Enterprise, Shengzu), but the scale is holding me back. I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. I wish ALL of the ships were in true scale with each other (minus the shuttle crafts obviously). I wish they would have scaled the Constitution Class ships on the size they started with and based all the other ships on that scale. I guess the XL Enterprise D would pretty close to scale to the normal Enterprise A, bit ships like the B and C fall in between the two current scales. |

Also, they are starting to release ships from the mobile game that look pretty cool.
