Anyone else have a bad experience with Marauders Gun Runner?

Hi. I am just wondering if anyone else has had a bad experience with Marauders Gun Runners? Here is what happened to me. I backed the K-9 Kickstarter with an "All In" pledge. The payment went through without a hitch. But we got the figures when they shipped and one was broken. Told MJ about it and was told I would get a replacement. That never took place.

Now, I am also a backer for the WWII figures. When it came time to pay my credit card was initially declined. A week later, it was approved. Well, it is time to ship the WWII figures. MGR sent out an email telling everyone to check their address with Backerkit. I went to the link they provided and lo, to my dismay, Backerkit not only had a dead address, but it showed no payment for the WWII figures . It did not even show two other Kickstarter projects that had been backed and paid for. I contacted all three projects and let them about what was going on. Both of the others went into action to make sure I would be receiving those rewards.

I explained issues I was having and asked MGR if they had a working phone number or email address to any one in either Kickstarter or Backerkit because they provide neither on their respective websites.

Marauders Gun Runner simply sent back an email with the response "we are not the bank or the phone company".

This pledge was $699.00. I am disabled. These were presents for my sons. If I knew this would happen, I would have put the money to use elsewhere.

I have done a lot of business with MGR in the past. But after getting screwed over for nearly $700.00, I am done. My money will go elsewhere and will encourage all of you to do so too.

So am I the only one that the shaft or are there other people that have felt this sting?

Sorry about that man, but me and everyone I know have had fantastic costumer service from Marauders. They’ve even thrown in stuff we didn’t order that they thought would be good for a custom that they thought we might be making.

This isn't helpful to you, but your experience seems very anomalous. The curt reply you received seems very unusual and out of character. Maybe try contacting them again?

I agree - that does not sound like them. I'd would email again

Sorry this happened to you but my experience has been the opposite. Never have I an issue with MGR.

Do you have the Backerkit confirmation email from when you selected which figures you wanted?

On March 17, 2018 I received an email indicating that the project funded and my pledge status was 'collected'.

You must have something like that.
